Hi Tinho, my shaft strut was bent as well and I tried with some metal plates and rods but it just bent the metal plates and not the strut. With your method my strut is back where it belongs. Thanks so much

Your innovative method applies pressure to the strut without stressing the connection at the hull. Bravo.
What kind of metal is the strut? Seems if its cast iron, it could break. If bronze, seems it should bend readily without weakening the strut. Right?
