I'd choose a court wedding first and just invite my immediate family, grandparents and 2-3 friends and we're done. Then later in life, when I've saved enough, I can renew my vows in a small private destination wedding with less than 30 people. I'll take it far away where people who care less about me won't be able to attend hehe. Save myself the stress of budgeting for a 100 people.

This is exactly what my partner and I will be doing soon. Court wedding first. Then renew vows later with limited guests. Not spending euros on people who haven´t been with us during our journey. It´s not being mean, it´s being logical

I believe that if you are getting married and you are stressing over planning every detail according to your every wish, and dream, then also if you are able to shell out money for these things to be done, you should be able to have what you pay for and stressed over, because it is your wedding.
*If someone wants to gift me a wedding then I would have to sit back and just enjoy what I was given and have no complaints, because it was a gift.
*Labeling someone as a bridezilla as I've seen here is not anything near looking like that on this tape. When I watch the bridezilla videos from America, those brides are very mean and they hurt people's feelings and they don't care. But having the money to pay for something elaborate, if that's what you want to do and you can do it the way you want, I say kudos to you.

Why have tons of people you don't know and family you've never met and won't see again? Some people use weddings as a reunion , so they come and eats, have fun and you don't see them again for years to come, they don't keep in touch. I think if you cannot afford to invite everyone and live on the streets later then you should invite whom you can afford to have at your wedding. It would be a very good and modern thing to do to have extra guests pay for a plate if they wish to come.

For me everything went well but the rain went crazy after church, eventually we didn't dance due to music failure due to power fluctuation after a storm. As for my friends wedding who is also a wedding decorator; she told me go a take those lousy looking flowers off before i do it myself. I will never forget her day. I told the wedding decorator to take them away.
