I appreciate you giving the most important info right at the start. Nicely done
I don’t have a truck or in the market for a camper just enjoy her soothing voice.
"You'll need at least a 3/4 ton truck" Thank you for your honesty!
You bet!
Very nice truck camper! Thank you PJ!
I’d love to see the palomino hs-2910 with the recliners 🤤❤️ superb review as always. Love PJ
Maybe we'll see one of those come to the dealership sometime. Then we can video it!
This thing is awesome!
Everything about this camper is great :)
VERY PROFESSIONAL...this girls worth the price of admission
Thanks!
Wonderful thank you for the video. :)
You are a great person ❤️
Excellent review
amazing
Get rid of the sink in the bathroom (in all truck campers). It would make the area larger for shower and toilet.
We tend to agree... but the customers are definitely split on this topic.
How many things do you touch after leaving the toilet area??,gross no sink
Such a good host ❤️
I do like the area under the nose area for shade sitting area. Just adjust camper height for your likings
Yep! Once you've take the camper off the truck, that's a great way to use the space!
When you were standing outside the bathroom talking, I couldn’t help but notice that even with the bathroom door closed, you can see the toilet through a gap between the wall and the bathroom door. That means no privacy to the person using the toilet, and no way to keep bad smells on the inside of the bathroom.
I saw that too... not getting this one... lol
You can use the surrounding shower curtain to drape over door gap.
Almost perfect - wish it came w/ option for a cassette toilet
Agree! There is so much that needs to be redesigned between the standard and cassette toilet, having it as in option just isn’t feasible!
❤️
Look like she has a fun job
Hope so! She's been in the business for something like 25 years!
@@PrincessCraft so she see them change for what my dad grind had back in the 90s
Don't really care for the palomino. I have the HS 2902 not much different from mine 2018 model. But I do love watching you on your presentations. Very professional
I appreciate that!
Hello PJ, I am beginning to think they don't make one that will fit an 8 foot bed, single cab truck. Looks like it will stick too far over for a single cab. Any ideas? Thanks.
I'm learning about these things for a possible future purchase....I don't understand however with all the features and cleverness in the design, there's a big gap where a second person in the camper can see the first using the bathroom? 2:10
Great presentation tho, thank you
That is a bonus.
It's actually 21 gallons fresh it's on their website
P.J., is there a black/grey tank flush for this? Also, is there storage located under the sofa? Thank. I always enjoy your reviews.
There is a little usable space beneath the sofa. There is not a black tank flush.
Is this a four season camper?? Are the tanks heated?? Thank you.
I’ve replaced a lot of windshields. I would rather not have window in the front
Great review thank you. What do you think is better this brand or lance. This unit has a nice refrigerator seems better than the lance. I’ll still be looking. Thanks
The Lance definitely has more quality in the build and the finish out, but the price is significantly higher for a comparable model to account for it. Your perfect camper is the one with the features and the price that suits you!
Is it possible to use this camper on Rivian Pickup ?
Is this a four seasonal camper?
Can you attach that to a semi truck ?
My 3/4ton has a payload of 3300 2600lbs plus two passengers doesn't leave much for cargo
Yeah, there certainly are some variations of capacities and capabilities in the 3/4-ton options out there.
@@PrincessCraft I have this camper and I haul it with my chevy 2500 no problem like I hardly notice it.
Can you get a cassette toilet?
Show the prices on in the videos
Hi PJ, is there a truck camper that is all electric, no propane at all, yet? Thank you for your videos!
Hey Shelley, I don’t know if a truck camper that is completely electric and has all the features most people are looking for. Tesla has talked about it, but it’s not out there yet!
Bathroom electric outlet is in a dangerous place given the shower....curtain may not protect it sufficiently
Thankfully, the outlet is GFCI protected to protect against unfortunate situations.
21 gallons of fresh water, not 31.
USB are 5 volts not 12 volts as stated by the young lady at almost 7 minutes into this video.
They are a part of the 12volt battery system (powered by it). You are technically correct. We'll see if we can find a better way to express this so it isn't confusing in future videos.
How do you winner wise the campers
What in the methadone clinic you trying to say?
If you ad blocks and more leaf springs or leaf spring helpers you can use a 1/2:ton
You certainly could bulk up the capabilities of a 1/2 ton truck to basically the same as that of a 3/4 ton truck through aftermarket parts and modifications. We've seen it done plenty of times, so it's definitely a doable thing. BUT, those changes won't change what the manufacturer rated that vehicle for when it left the factory. So, you'll definitely have a more capable truck, but should an incident happen on the road, like a collision, the insurance companies, lawyers, and courts will go by the vehicle's rating from the factory, not what the modifications add to the capabilities of your vehicle. We see it all the time, but we can't suggest or recommend a situation like that.
You really can’t they go by the truck tag GVW.
A 1/2 ton truck will never be a 3/4 ton truck no matter what upgrades you do,it all starts with the frame, motor, transmission.
Never heard anything good about Palomino truck campers
For the most part you won't either.
I have one you're right,they suck
I have a 2014 same as this 1,no problem, only bad thing is small black tank, but you just use a portable holding tank ,no big deal
Msrp?
Does this have a generater
Sorry, no generator option on this camper.
Switches and capacity levels need to be at EYE LEVEL. Not at the top of the camper!!!
Lots of space wasted.. very less capacity of all tanks.. and no countertops ☹️
With you're skills and professionalism you need to ditch palomino
Not much changed from 2018
That's correct. It seems to be a formula that's worked well for the manufacturer.
You didn't say anything about to pass the window looks like a pass through window
Sorry about that! The pass thru windows don’t usually line up with the truck window openings like they did years ago. Most folks they’ll us they don’t use them for much other than occasional ventilation. If you have a question about them, let us know!!!!
Refrigerator / freezer too high
It absolutely is for PJ at 5'. At 6'4"... it works quite well for me!
Grey and black tanks are super small
They are pretty small.
@@PrincessCraft Since the black tank is so small I would think a cassette toilet would be beneficial in this camper.
A cassette toilet would allow all for more gray water, but that’s always a difficult decision for manufacturers since many buyers aren’t comfortable with the up close and personal task of dumping a cassette! Personally I love the ease of use of a cassette!
Pee outside like a man lol
@@roberthoovan4130 wasn't talking to you.
Palominos suck! I had to take mine back numerous times with multiple problems. Service was terrible. They want to blame the vendors . They make them on piece work. The more they make the more money for the workers. Quality is secondary.
What kind of problems you faced, after watching that video I was thinking this might be the best camper for myself. Want to buy one but there are many options available
Would much rather see the camera panning/tilting/shifting on inside the camper please. Camera operator is far more interested in filming PJ than the camper.
