Here's the famous march from Tchaikovsky's “Nutcracker” in a skillfully arranged version for young bands. The arrangement features a delicate opening by the percussion section and also carefully introduces two important rhythmic concepts to the band - the triplet, and the dotted 8th and 16th note pattern. Valuable and enjoyable music for developing groups.
