  • 1 year and 300hrs of fairly heavy use. Follow along and see how my John Deere 4052m with a 485a backhoe and HLA 66'' root rake grapple stand up over the test of time. I use pigs and goats to eat the shrubs and bushes, weaken the trees, loosen the soil around stumps and rocks making it easier for a compact tractor to clear land.

Love a man who, like me, takes care of his John Deere equipment. Masterfully done sir!

Thanks for the video. My 4066r w backhoe arrives soon. I will check those pinch points and weld the thumb on the backhoe. Look forward to future videos.

Nice tractor. New follower here. I’d like to have a mid size tractor to supplement our large Hew Holland. Look forward to future videos.

Thanks for the video I'm thinking of getting the 4066r with loader and cab and backhoe but your only issues is with hydros on the backhoe and welds on the bucket?

Thanks for watching! I'm sure you'll be happy with a 4066r. Nice tractors...Just be careful with the backhoe. The cylinder for the bucket is a little small for this size of tractor. Make sure you use it hard the first year as it would be covered on warranty. Have a great day!

I guess those tires are for turf as well. The tread depth would be considered 45% on actual farm tractor tires.

The tire's are easy on the turf. But, sometimes I sure do need more traction. These R4 tires are terrible for mud! Thanks for your comment.
