That horse wasn't Popcorn. Popcorn has 2 long white socks at the back and the blaze is a bit different.

Horse ears turned back = listening behind; forward = listening ahead. one ear forward & one back = listening all around.
These horses seem so much more chilled than the larger horses that seem a bit high strung
Some of that might be because the larger horses are constantly being mauling by tourist! Never seen anything like the way several people at one time will just be rubbing all over them. I think they should outlaw it. Seems cruel. 😮😮😮😮
Bay horses are known to be extremely good tempered and curious. Beautiful beasts.

In USA Spca stands for Society Prevention for Cruelty to Animals. They rescue a lot of abused animals.
They are like the rspca they also put alot of animals down if they have issues they like animals they can rehome quick
They run shelters, and they are not Animal control. I think you might have them confused. They do take in a lot of animals that get dropped off and stuff. They also are KILL shelters which means the animal only has so many days in the shelter before the kill them.
@@jayjohnson8426that is my sense here in Australia. I suspect more are euthanised than rehomed but I have no evidence for that.

Hi John, I love the Royal Horse Artillery!! It is a real privilege to see them. I saw them many years ago at Earls Court when we used to have the Miltary tattoo. I took my parents for their Golden Wedding, as my Dad was an ex military man, and my partner an ex naval officer. It was absolutely brilliant!! I think that is so missed at Earls Court. Those little Bay horses 🐎 moved like lightning across the arena. Very happy days 😊❤
John, I remember the lady Lt. from the Elizabeth Cup judging event you attended, if I’m not mistaken. What an incredible inspection this was!

I watched Trooping of the Colour live from Florida. Loved it!!!!
If the guards were constantly smiling….their jaw would ache after a number of minutes. The serious pose is easier to maintain for an entire hour.
I think the tourists act different to these horses. Not as aggressive. Maybe they feel more gentle to small horses

Talking of beaches we bumped into a couple of WPCs and there horses with horse box at the beach we was told not to turn back on the grey as he was a playful nipper. They weren't in uniform so I take it they had the horses out in off duty time
Well one thing I learnt from watching this old video is how much I appreciate you no longer use this format to film. Managed about 30mins then skipped to the end to get the end of day. Landscape is a far more immersive experience, look forward to new videos, thank you.

Funny you can't take pictures in Herrods. When I visited London in 2012, I took pictures in the bathroom - it was amazing!! On google maps it shows at least 5 towns in the USA called Whitehall and Ohio has one of them! It has a population of a bit over 20,000.
Whitehall is a suburb on the east side of Columbus, Ohio.

these Bays are lovely. i guess they are Irish draught and Cleveland bays? thats the most I've been able to find on what breeds are used for the grenadier
Light Irish draft/thoroughbred mix sourced and purchased from selected breeders in Ireland . The Cleveland Bays are at The Royal Mews Windsor and are used as ride and drive horses pulling carriages at State occasions . These are The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery not Grenadiers
Maybe the horses' ears back is their way to reduce the many loud noises from flowing directly to their sensitive eardrums ... any expert opinions on this?

In The Household Cavalry once the horses are fully trained the Troopers suggest and vote on their regimental names using a different letter of the alphabet for each intake . The Kings Troop choose regimental names for their horses from the books by R.S.Surtees , I've only just found that out !

It's 100% Popcorn... Gunner told me she was on Popcorn last year - that's why the video was dug out and posted for the first time. 👍🏻
The only way i know these are older videos is the sign on the front near the horses and the bushes are no longer there anymore near the tunnel
Also can check the day of filming John includes in every video, in the expanded view of description. I guess they are not bringing the ficus back for that horse to steal a nibble? Haven't seen them yet this year.🙂

Why are the signs different? Don't they usually have "don't touch the reins"?
Maybe they are painting the other ones & had to use the old ones temporarily?
