I had the pleasure of meeting Tom Green when he was doing stand up a few years back. I bought the dvd collection of his original show. It's solid gold still. Hilarious. He was so nice too! Got a photo with him.
I follow him on IG and watch his live vids on there sometimes, he seems like a very chill, down-to-earth guy

My big brother had the Fisher Price Tournament Table, that brought me back. It had very little room in our room because us 3 boys were sharing one room like the Malcolm in the middle, had to move the beds to the side to play it, I had more fun playing the air hockey. We didn't play ping pong that much, just pool and air hockey. It got moved to the shed and got more room to play, and I think one of my brothers or his friends broke it and I can say I had no part on breaking a expensive toy that my dad bought for my brother.
Even though it was a toy did it last long before someone broke it?
I had 3 and 1 too. I was only child so that was cruel joke on my end until cousins came over lol

The 3-in-1 Fisher Price table is something I had in my room as a kid. Loved that damn thing! The hockey table was not air based but it was still pretty awesome. Kinda wish I had a finished basement for that when I was younger.
Sadly, Dave Thomas had slimmed down a lot at this time because he was suffering from cancer and he didn't live too much longer after this.

I feel like I watched a lot of these commercials just yesterday. I was in high school from 96 to 2000 so a lot of these ads were drilled into my brain.
After watching the last video I thought " I hope they do 90s commercials for the next one"

1:27 My dad bought me one of these and then never set it up lol He would constantly talk about how he was gonna turn the shed outside into a "game room" with this thing in it, never took it out of the box. I asked him every weekend for like 10 years to set it up and he just never got around to it. Biggest case of blue balls I've ever had in my life.

My dad has had really bad acid reflux over the years, and his doctor told him his esophagus was basically fucked, burned all up by the acid. But they finally got him medication that actually works (nothing they tried before did) so thankfully he’s gotten a lot better. That shit can really wreck you if you get it too many times.
I'm worried about mine. I have had some pretty bad "attacks" every now and then, and esophageal cancer took my grandfather. My whole family has some degree of digestive issues.
Got into trouble at work for breaking into laughter at that Barbie bum leg horse one.

I remember wanting that Triple Arcade thing. Hell, now I want one again. Scale that shit up to adult size and maybe replace the basketball with tabletop bowling, and I’m in. The other table was cool too, and I remember that ad.

Highlander the TV show was epic. First villain was Richard Moll of Night Court fame, he was spooky. They even got Christopher "Highlander the Movie" Lambert to guest star in it. The hero's name is Duncan McCloud, cousin of Conner McCloud. He runs into a modern day kid who turns out to be an immortal, and they have adventures. It's basically "The Master" if it was better written/acted.
I don't remember Lambert ever appearing in the series. From what I remember he appeared in Endgame with Duncan which was a terrible Highlander movie. It was the selling point of the entire movie.

So I actually got Hooked On Phonics when I was a kid solely so that I could learn to read instruction manuals for my Super Nintendo games by myself. I was consistently at least two years above my grade level in reading until they stopped measuring it for the rest of my school career. Also my sibling straight up bought that Snappy attachment. It's still in the junk room at my childhood home. I used to use it to take pictures of Godzilla films because it was one of the better ways to get pictures of something off of your TV/VCR.

Talking about Subway. With the rise of "artisan" sandwich shops, super surprised Subway is still a thing. With Firehouse or Jimmy Johns around I don't know why you'd get a Subway? The only reason I can think of would be if you're on a trip in the middle of nowhere, and there's one attached to a gas station you stop at. Even then i'd probably get some junk food and wait to get some real food in a town.
