All i want for Terry's reveal is the trailer starts with a black screen and "ARE YOU OK?"
I'd rather have the black screen then: "Good luck" as Terry comes in on a motorcycle to slaps all 3 letters of KOF, then he goes "Hey, Come on Come on"
Stupid idea: A huge fully rendered word falls from above, saying 'EXPECTATIONS' and then from off-screen we hear PAWA GAIZAAAH. The ground explodes and the word breaks apart, shattering all expectations.

I expect a new US Sports team. I think they are very underrated. But the issue is that there's so much "staple" characters and so little place for new and returning characters that you gotta expect a roster that's way too similar each game.
Kinda like me wanting Duck King to return. He hasn't shown up since XI, and that was mostly just a quick and dirty edit and recolor of his RBFF sprites. I would be thrilled to have him back.

Yuri is basically part of the art of fighting trinity that fuses into Dan Hibiki.
Its kind of funny since Yuri was used to make fun of Akuma back in the early 2000s. She even had a SGT/Raging Demon back in 2001 or so I believe. Besides, Sakura was practically made because Yuri always been so popular.

I'll give him a pass because the mask in the background is actual Mudman's from World Heroes (the statues are also his familiars) and I doubt he know that series exists but Max has played Neo Geo Battle Coliseum where Mudman's playable.
Wasn't Geese canonically dead for pretty much the entirety of the series after '96? I can never keep track. He's like Schrodinger's Geese.
Max's ignorance about SNK lore is just sad, but we must tolerate it.

@@jeffnussbaum716 Nah, after KOF '96 he just didn't personally (canonically) enter anymore tournaments until KOF 14. Fatal Fury and KOF have two different timelines, in Fatal Fury he's dead, he died after Real Bout. In KOF he's alive and well.

The problem with Max is that because he uses the Nightmare Geese alt in KOF14 which is based on a dead Geese, he believes it to be canon when in reality he's dumb and ignoring literally everyone telling him otherwise. Got too much of an ego to admit he's wrong and doubles down.
Have you ever wondered why there's no videos of Max's 02UM stream? Because he kept getting everything wrong about the game and kept comparing shit to CVS2.

You are right, but you do have some other SNK franchises in there like Ikari warriors and samsho. Kinda wonder why there's never been Metal Slug representation in a mainline entry in the series.
i heard there's a theory that said there's a separate timeline because of what happened in Ikari Warriors 2 (if you succeed to safe the hostage or not).
I hope KoF XV has color edit again, messing with the Yuri colors in CvS2 and KoF XIII was really fun 🤭

PaoPao Cafe has always been part of South Town. It was Richard Meyer's stage in the original Fatal Fury. Bob Wilson from Real Bout Special and Real Bout 2, who is Richard's student, runs the second Cafe and is in the background in this trailer.

I'm happy with how good she looks. The more I've played kof and cvs2 the more I've been enjoying her and she's made main team for me after all this time so I'm excited to play her day 1 in 15

If you're curious, the stage background is a reference to the character Mudman from the World Heroes serie! Also, as usual in Pao Pao stages, you can see Richard Meyers and Bob Wilson from fatal fury.
The stages look pretty good so far and I really appreciate how expressive Yuri looks, also she got her braid back!

I like Yuri, I enjoy playing her from time to time but I'm super happy that they kept her super from KOF 14. They only showed her doing the winding up punch, the end of the super, but that super is one of my favorites, hopefully they kept it the same. Now for character 10, apparently Terry's birthday is next week, can we get the man himself?

Terry's Garou jacket is Blue Mary's jacket. It means she is dead.
3:03 The inverted-background effect Max is talking about reminds me of how Max Supers looked in KOF 2000 and 2001. I think that parallel helps me appreciate the game that much more with subtle callbacks like that.
I'm with Max on this one: originally i expected to be rather indifferent to this game, maybe get it when it's out, but no rush. By now that expectation has been shattered, i want to play it. I don't wanna wait another 40 weeks or however many characters are left to reveal.

The way I figure they're going to do it from now on is two characters on the same team show up first then a surprise character from another group. On occasion (say there's an event) they'll show a surprise character who is either new or who has not shown up for a while to garner hype like they did with Chizuru
I love how Yuri isn't as akwardly skinny as XIV. The budget makes great things.
The negative effect when you do the SDM reminds the old kofs I think is such a great detail.
