+torah613ful Amy Lee wasn't awkward or off-beat at all! It didn't show much of her, so you can't really make judgements like that. Go look up some of her live performances or her acoustic performances, she has one of the most amazing voices and she is a brilliant singer.

But there was practically no new name of a leading rock band, or any female member that would succeed, including several record companies refused to produce Evanescence itself believing that for that reason, the band would not succeed. Not to mention that Evanescence was the first band from rock to perform in this award, and the performances of Lost In Paradise and Bring Me To Life couldn't have been more beautiful!! There's no reason to criticize Amy's presence or her fans' comments here, Amy was great, and the fans are just recognizing and admiring the gorgeous talent of her idol, I see no problem at all!
