They deserve to be together and he's literally comparing the other girl to Catherine......It's almost as if the writers are teasing us with that relationship. I truly believe they should end up together because why else would he be thinking about Catherine while in another relationship. But even they don't end up together (I really hope they do lol) I think they have great on screen chemistry and I would like to see her work with 5-0 more. She and Steve make a great team

makksima ya except the fact that when he found out why she really left, he told Danny he understood why she couldn't tell him. Plus I don't think with there history that the whole story was true to both characters.
If you think back to the previous seasons, he risked his job for her, when she was kidnapped. Plus you could hear her screaming in the background for him not to give them what they wanted, she was willing to give her life. Plus she's risked her job for him too.

Yeah I believe they are gradually leading McRoll back to each other. She will appear on 9.10, hope it will be a good one - them being a couple again.
