UPDATED 7/18/2021:
Because the backrest had too much flexibility when leaning against it, I ended up added an L-shaped snap-on to secure the backrest to the armrest. This made a big difference for support. I did make a video of this process, but that won't be out till Oct 10. It's easy enough to figure out how to create the snap-on on your own, so I'm mentioning it here for those who attempt to build this couch before that video is released.
ORIGINAL POST:
You're looking at a futon couch that I've had for quite a number of years now and I've always wanted to replace the cushions on the couch. Today, I'm going to go one step further and replace the entire couch with a PVC version that, in the end, should look similar to this sketch. To see how I do this, stay tuned.
PARTS LIST:
● 24x 1-1/4" PVC tee
● 12x 1-1/4" PVC elbow
● 3x 1-1/4" PVC 4-way
● 5x 1-1/4" PVC pipe
● 1x #10, 3/4" 100-pack panhead screws

Can you please provide a link to the fold up cushions which you bought?

I picked it up at the Walmart near where I live. It's a trifold that's 30" wide and each of the 3 cushions is 24" in the other direction. Hope this helps.
