      There’s a line in the second verse of young lust where says “Eww, baby set ne free.” Behind him is a nice fast walk down off the e scale at the borrow. Of the fit. But no, even those examples you gave are just more slow/
      Melodicar Gilmour stuff. You may hear a wick fingertaoe here or a nice quick transition here, but nothing that does like when he walks it down the D (m) blues during that Bm chord preggrossion

    *EDIT:* I see people in the replies thinking that I'm implying that Black Strat is the reason why the solo sounds like it does. Non avrai mai il suono di Gilmour...
      Gilmour ha uno spessore delle dita più ampio....
      Oltre ad essere un maestro dello strumento e del suono...
      Nondimeno, ognuno è unico....
      anche tu..
      Piuttosto, io suggerisco di apprendere bene il modo di ragionare di Gilmour sulla chitarra, sugli accordi e note e scale usate.....le quali non sempre traggono fonte da quelle blues, come molti sostengono.

      @raynefaded Před rokem +6

      It's almost like technicality does mean musicality. There's a reason why this solo is iconic. It's emotive, it's powerful -
      Sure, shred your 16th note string-skipping phrygian dominant runs at 190bpm all you want, but that's an exercise more akin to an etude than creating a melody. There's a reason why pentatonic scales are found in most cultures around the world - they sound good and people relate to them.
      Also, Gilmour has shown he can do more than that, so who cares?
