- V6 Steam engine - How to Make 6 Cylinder Steam Engine at home (100% working)
In this video, I show how to make a steam engine using a syringe that works 100%. In this 6-cylinder engine, you can convert water vapor power into kinetic energy.
I hope you have enjoyed this scientific project. (how to make v6 steam engine)

Hey do you have this project
Pls ley me now i will pay you
Hlo...I have some doubt on it can you clarify it ...pls...
Hey can i buy it
For anyone that wants to know, this isn’t a steam engine it’s a sterling engine. A steam engine has exhausts for the steam which builds up pressure in the cylinder. Sterling engines reuse the same air by heating, cooling and repeat.
It's not a sterling engine, it's not a complete model of any type of real heat engine, an heat engine needs as much cooling as heating. All the syringes in the video are just fed in parallel, or are supposed be, it's definitely faked. A sterling engine needs expansion and contraction, a cycle, not just being fed steam, that doesn't work.
Def fake

@fishyerik yes but if you could use compressed air and have it strong enough to move the pistons he could be onto something here right. Obviously this needs a better construction but this is a cool concept since we can use a trompe hammer to compress air and run this thing quicker. I’d have used more stable parts and actual pistons but it’s not out of the realm of possibility all is needed is enough air to move each piston?
@@fishyerik I'm not entirely sure but u maybe right , because the air or steam is expanding and therefore pushing the piston but I don't see how the fluid expands at the other end of the piston and pushing it backwards and there was no slide valve system like real steam engines. Please explain it to me if this is real
You know it's not working when the title says "100% working"
Fr😂
Yeah. But it kinda worked, and use steam to work
Если постараться то заработает, если его сделать на бензине или на спирту, я так делал только одноцилиндровый и двух тактный, с самодельной системой зажигания, топливо использовал спирт + масло

Fake video but still a cool design. This can't work without intake/exhaust valves. There's no way you can just dump steam into a cylinder and expect it to exhaust against more steam constantly being admitted. It needs incoming steam to be cut off and the exhaust valve opened to atmosphere. Otherwise nothing will happen. You would also lose a lot of power with top dead center of the stroke so far away from the top of the cylinder. The goal is to remove as much used steam per stroke as possible.
I like how you made the crankshaft! Pretty clever using motorcycle chain links and some all-thread. If you added provisions for valve actuation to the crankshaft, then you could actually control the steam admission and exhaust for each cylinder. Simple slide valves can be made easily with the parts you have. You could also get a smoother running engine if you offset the crank journals by 120 degrees like a real V6. More support for the center of the crank would also help you out as well. You can see it flexing in the video. 1 or 2 more bearings in between journals with proper support would minimize flex.
I don't like being critical, but your design does have potential. I'm not sure what kind of glue you're using but if you do end up improving it like how I described then epoxy would be better. Good luck!
Yes sir that's what I was also confused. Because see still it has so much friction. And yes 120° also good idea for crankshaft but he used only 90° two set and it can create more strech on shaft instead of 90° to each and every poles.
And main and important what about exhaust. I don't understand this physics does it is fake video or what.
I have found your comment intelligent so I also share my view to you.
I now get your intake/exhaust valve theory. You are right.
Actually I think he might have mislabeled the engine. This seems to me like many other sterling engine models people make. The way these work is by heating the air in the can which can expand into the cylinder and push the piston and than is reinserted into the can as exhaust and is reheated and re-expands into the cylinder. It’s a pretty cool engine I’ve been thinking about making one for study and entertainment purposes
@@ScreamingEngines18still even in a sterlin engine there is a second piston to navigate the cold air back to the burner, which this model does not. But I’m sure going to copy and modify it myself. Awesome idea
Liked the idea of your crankshaft

What a nice skill. I love this idea so much and useful that's why I subbed u
Thanks for watching
The engine won't work if you tried to make it with this design it has no timing for the power stroke meaning this will just push the pistons to the most furthest extension possible and the engine would just stay there
What is te red thing that you use two connect the hoses ?
Wow! A steam engine that functions perfectly without any manner of valve gear!? So many convincing!!!
Edit: Okay, sarcasm aside, the way you managed to fake this was pretty impressive in its own right. Did you use stop-motion animation or what?
good job

Where is the exhaust unable to see
😂😂 very good question. That is not steam engine. Skill Make said steam because he added water into main tube. I think he did not understand why the pistons can move....🙏IMHO
No need for exhaust because there is an open fire. What do you want exhaust for?
@@steganomaledoor3147 for dispose of the steam/pressure that has been used to push the piston, so that the piston can return to its initial position. But it could be that the steam/pressure comes out through a hose connection, so you do need exhaust. Internal or external combution engine have the same principle.
@@oprekboy9693 Yeah, I guess you are right.
Each piston needs a waste-exhaust hole bored at the downstroke.
can you tell what things were used in this thing?
Люфты сумасшедшие на чëм-то таком коленвалоподобном.
There is a leak of steam from al around the syringe pistons
Guys take it easy this system gonna do nothing for real
Exhaust would be necessary if the system was without leaking to decrease steam pressure but all around the syringe pistone we have leaking of steam
This is my guess of course....
Also there is some regulator on valves that can control steam pressure
Only one thing is to ask.
Hope I will get my answer.
Ok fine let's forget friction, drage, timing for something.
But what about exhaust.
See I don't know what the idea is used here or which physics is used here.
Because see there is total 6 cylinder but they all are in two series, but it can get more powerful if they all are set at 90° to next to eachother.
Still the exhaust stand there what about it. Because if it will refilleds the boiler than boiler will get blast or if it doesn't happen than the movement of postion will stuck.
I like your design but still the arrangement of crank and exhaust I don't understand. Please make it clear if possible.
Totally agree with you on all your concerns and improbabilities. Your idea to set at 90 deg to each other is also the traditional way, but he has only 2 set of inlets (Not even any outlets), so with 2 inlets, the system can only work as a 2 cylinder model. If 90 deg from each adjacent, then each cylinder will be 25% out of phase with the adjacent and the 2 inlet model will not work. He will need 6 tubes, making it an extremely complex and inefficient model. From that context, his idea to make it a 2 cylinder system (although in 3 subunits) may be better. Drag and friction are inevitable, so not sure how that can be overcome, I have used syringes for 40 years as a physican and I can testify about the friction in the plunger in the syringe. Also assuming that the copious amount of steam condensing lubricates the plunger, an exhaust is still needed, and a small hole in the body of the syringe at max outward position of the plunger might actually exhaust the cylinder, and drop the reistance substantially that the return stroke might be easier and the system more efficient, overall I dont think this model is real, but may be it is...
Im not reading that kanninsevegan
Puede acelerar?😊
What is the name of that súper Glue 😯 i need it
Amazing 😍
Thank you! Cheers!
Wq 😊
Actually the system needs an exhaust, and I suspect this can be done with a small outlet in the cylinder part of the syringe, at max movement of the plunger. The three outlets on one side can be connected to an outlet tube and the water drained away from the system itself. This "small outlet" is not any different from the traditional exhaust outlet in the engine chamber. Exhausting the steam might actually drop the pressure inside the syringe significantly, the engine might perform more efficiently. Just a thought, not sure if feasible.
There is no need for an exhaust....remember, the exhaust is for the fumes to escape from a closed combustible engine. This one is running on an open fire system. Only if the fire was in an enclosure would we need an exhaust.
I’m pretty sure he’s talking about the steam from the boiling water
@@MitPatel-yr3yt Oh yes! I think so too....and he is right.

Hi
The vaseline one is relatable
Oh yeah. A steam engine with no exhaust. That's totally a real thing. When it comes to physics, it's more like guidelines than laws.
What a coincidence that at no point while the machine is 'running' can you see the ENTIRE machine.
What's frustrating is that a couple strategically placed holes in those syringes and the thing might ACTUALLY work.
bro stop raging, he made s steam engine that works, there was just not enough pressure at the start for it to run on its own, so it needed a little puh
I'm not so much raging as sarcastically mocking people dumb enough to think he built a working engine haha @@OmarHARRAZE
The syringes barely have enough sealing, so the gas escapes through the rubber part and the Vaseline. You can clearly see the inside of the tube clouding up from the steam. It works, even if its not planned as well as it should be.
