Steve said it wasn’t in Jason’s character to have his feet in the pool. He’s had his boots off, feet exposed back in 2008 with Liz as well. In her art studio she bandaged his ankle. Maybe Liz just brings it out of Jason. 😂
Well, gag me, only kidding. Maybe being away has made Jason a softer more live in the moment person. Plus he was all alone with her. He felt comfortable.

I was new to gh so I watched Jason's history on youtube.When he first got brain damage, he didn't understand his parents love for him. He was kind of bothered by it. But when he started taking care of Michael he started to understand and let his mom hug him (beautiful scene). When he died and came back the first time he softened a little. When he saw Monica again it's like he understood her love for him even more. Maybe that's what that scene was about. This time Jason was taken he wasn't drugged so he really had to miss his family a whole lot. Maybe he's learned to enjoy the little things with people he loves. Just my thoughts.

Awesome podcast! Loved hearing about the Emmy experience! You all looked amazing! Congratulations on the wins! Really wonderful scenes between Jason and Elizabeth! Beautifully acted and written. I was surprised Jason took his shoes off and put his feet in the water, but found it to be a great touch! As Bradford said maybe what Jason has been put through over the past 2-3 years has made an impact. It probably should’ve and I so want the show to explore that with Jason!

Love you two on THIS show. Yall are so great. Liz and Jason have a decades old relationship and are always honest with each other. She gets him even more than Carly, in a romantic easy way. I like them better, than a love affair of Jarley. Liz doesn't push his buttons like Carly does. Im SOO glad Jason is back. AND Spinelli and Maxi have never made me happier. I hope that she gets to plan her own wedding one day. 💞

Monday's Jason and Elizabeth scene was incredible so incredible they broke the soap twitter and the internet. They were trending#13 in the USA and trending on Yahoo and google as well. Bradford was right absolutely beautiful. I feel vindicated as a Liason fan that others finally see what we all have seen for a quarter of a century. The natural chemistry between these two shines brightly on screen.
Watching Becky and Steve fall right back in like no time has passed was awesome. #Stecky truly bring the magic that IS #Liason to life. That very magic their fans saw and fell in love with 25 years ago. The scene was filled with a lot of nods to their 25-year History. It felt old school Liason and old school GH. I hope the storyline and writing continues in this direction as that's what fans want to see. I hope they're headed back to Liason to give them their day in the sun. .It's been 25 years of push and pull and we are exhausted. timing is everything! Happy Father's Day gentleman.

I think Jason's feet in the pool was meant to be a touch of humor since it's against type for the character. It worked because it was funny and lightened the tension from Liz's encounter with Finn.
It's awesome to hear about Steve reuniting with his Days costars. Him being part of Days family is the best thing that's ever happened to him.

@@deannharris2424no it's Liz. Jason has danced with Liz without hesitation or dragging his feet. Jason has cooked for Liz and made her promise not to tell anyone he can actually cook. Yet with Sam he always ordered out. Liz also is responsible for Jason being able to see pictures. In the 90s he told Liz he couldn't see pictures the way normal people could due to his accident. Because of that he hated pictures and never bothered to have pictures laying around.
She showed him her painting of "the wind" and described it to him in a way he could understand and that made him want to see pictures among other things. He loved how liz felt about art and wanted to experience what she felt when she talked about art and paintings. Years later during their night together in 06, he told her that when he'd think about a life with her, he'd go to a museum or a church and see an amazing painting and he'd think of her. And he told Sonny that he was ok and able to look at pictures now, when he asked about it in 2006.
Liz is the only one who could get jason to do things he normally wouldn't do for others, without some kind of reluctant attitude.
Yup you're right, liz is the only woman who can get jason to do things without hesitation or much thought. Dancing, cooking, looking at pictures, and now dipping his feet in the pool. He'd do anything for her ❤

I was thinking part of Jason's isolated protection gives him a reason and the time to be closer with his kids. Sam was a bit over the top in her wishes to keep them apart. Carly spoke the truth and Sam needed to hear it. Love you guys as a true friendship team. Love the BTS of the Emmy chat.

I watched the Emmy's. Saw Steve presenting, n again with the lovely Michelle when GH won at the end. YaY! I also thought it was weird to have Jason dipping his tootsies in the pool in that scene with Elizabeth recently. It was sweet, but weird. Whoever disrespected Bradford when he was nominated is a tool.....just sayin'! Also, I like the clean shaven face, on any guy, not just Bradford. 👍🏻 I'm still so excited to see you both on the same show again! GH is my favorite show, of any show, daytime or night, ever!! 💜💜💜💜

Haven’t found an ep where Jason’s place in the show (B called him an island) was discussed after this, but as a relatively new viewer I wanted to share what I see.
It looks like Jason isn’t an island but the main spoke in the wheel.
He’s connected to the Qs, Carly, Sonny, Liz and a lot of the teens/YAs. In some ways Drew was that person with the old writers.
That's not fair you all should win for the whole entire year because that shows fantastic so you all should win for the whole entire year at least I think so I'm partial I love that show I love general hospital
It's not a perfect system but you can't expect the judges to watch 250+ hours of each of the four soaps in order to vote. Just not practical.

I agree with you Steve, it just wasn’t something I felt Jason would have done. I’m a Jasam fan but with that being stated the scenes with Liz and Jason were nice scenes, I do like their friendship just don’t like them romantically.

Well that was mostly disappointing. First, my roommate and I were both super excited that Spinelli had shaved. We couldn’t believe how handsome (dare we say hot!) he looked. We figured it was a nice new look. So bummer to find out it’s a one time thing. Secondly, the entire #Liason universe had one of our best days ever, and Steve acted like he had a root canal. Way to NOT appreciate your fans who were hanging onto every word. And that is within Jason’s character to dangle his feet in the pool because Liz could get him to do anything. Have you forgotten? Thanks for freeing Liz, now go get her!

I can't believe they judge each category on one episode. There are SO many great moments on these shows. To pigeon hole an award to one moment is crazy. Ive seen such great acting, writing, wardrobes etc that there's no way I could pick a winner by just one episode. If it were up to me to pick, id have to have at least 6 months worth of episodes to go through 😂. But anyway...congrats on the wins 😊❤😊❤
