Piano adds a honky tonk vibe that works well in this rendition. Jimmy H and Billy S together is beat only by Jerry G all by himself with the great distorted pedal steel solo in the original that defined the "dirty" business. Glad to hear in another comment that David Nelson still plays this song live too. Thank you Marmaduke.
Love Billy Strings. He and Marcus King are the best of the more recent players in my view. Both can sing too. There are so many great players around now, but for my money Jimmy Herring and Derek Trucks are the top of the heap
Actually kind of a hard song to solo over... they basically just vamp on A for a very long time for the guitar solos but Jimmy Herring knows how to get it done! Strings sounds good too especially once the tempo picked up around 14:45
Billy keeps popping on my videos. 1st with Tommy Emmanuel, 2nd with Billy (Grateful Dead drummer) and the kids, and now with WSP. Wtf I feel like one day he will be playing with Derek Truck or Trey Anastasio

Damn!!!! Billy just took that PRS for a Quality Control Inspection. That guitar just received the stamp from Inspector Peelumback!!!!! Is that one of Jimmy's Custom Shop PRS's? If so I think Billy has called Maryland and PRS to schedule the VIP Rock Star tour and design/build your PRS
