Hi, does the shutter supposed to be like this: one push take the photo and another one for advancing the film?

I have the same question. Do you know anything about that?

@@TheMadLinguist @higanyka - No, it's not supposed to be like that. Proper Function: Press the shutter release to focus and take the picture. Upon releasing the button, the film advances (not beforehand). The camera in the video looks to have a sticky release button and pressing it a second time releases it so the film can advance. I have noticed the same on one I've had and it got better with use.
I came wondering if the red flash light was supposed to blink, when it's ready. Mine does the same as in this video. Steady light while loading and blinks when ready.

Think you can get any info on the AF-J3?

I haven't been able to make a video for the J-3 camera yet. However, due to the nature of the AF camera, the usage is almost the same. Next time I have a chance, I will also upload the Yashica AF J-3 video. Thank you.

@@lian68812 It's cool. Just curious what're your opinions on it? I've done a bit of research with no luck to avail but I did read that it's like a "budget T3/T4" xD

  • @ruwanthagunathilakaofficia150

I have a camera like this

Yes... it's a really beautiful and well-made camera. I also love this camera.

Whats the thing next to the red ready flash? Thanks

I believe that ist a film transport signal. It's a round piece of red and white plastic that spins if there is a film being advanced. The counter will advance without a film, I think, so the signal show's that the film was loaded properly.

Ho do you reset the film counter?

Just start the rewinder. This will even work, if you have the back open and you have to switch it off manually. :-)
