- I went to London mid June for a concert and decided why not buy a whole lot of manga while there!! It had been so long surely I would find some neat stuff 🙌 I filmed so much there will be multiple videos over the coming weeks of where I went for now please enjoy part 1 in Forbidden Planet 🥰

Manga shopping is so fun! It’s crazy how much the manga section expanded there! I’ve noticed that manga had seriously been rising in popularity and like every book store is expanding its manga sections. I really love to see it tbh. There’s always other people looking at the section too.
So true! Everywhere I regularly shop is continuously expanding their shelves 😆
That 3 for 2 is something I wish the US would bring back. We used to have it all the time but most stores stopped doing it once manga sales started to skyrocket. I could see why you would load up though with deals like that! - Jerry

On Father’s Day target had a buy 1 get one free sale. I got sooo much manga. Definitely look at target they have a lot of stuff 20% off stuff also

The last time I went to London, I didn’t like manga but now I love it . Forbidden planet is so big there I need to go! Another amazing video tho btw if I was you my banks account would be crying lol

i would have been just as excited if i saw all of those shelves of manga (and light novels)! the 3 for 2 extending for all of seven seas to include airship lns would have made me drool haha and that sale section!!! amazing!!! it's so nice to see manga grow so much outside of japan!

I was in London the day this video went up; of course i had to visit FP. Was slightly disappointed by the selection and i'm absolutely gutted i missed the sale section. Looking forward to watching all of your vlogs

I'm so jealous! I just went manga shopping and it was no where near that much! I hadn't been in a long time and had such a hard time deciding on what to get since they didn't have any deals. Love this video will be checking out more!
I Love seeing these video's. I love seeing the selection of manga in other places. Looked really nice which the selection by me was like that. Its not bad by me but it could be better. I wish there would be more 3 for 2 sales here in the US, we dont get those to often. Looking forward to seeing your next video's, hope you were able to get more volumes of what you were looking for ^_^
If I ever go back to London, I REALLY need to visit Forbidden Planet. If I go into that store...I'm not coming out for at least a few hours lol 😅🤣. Also watching this video just makes me wanna go manga shopping again but I just went to Kinokuniya and as B&N on Monday. Your store had Summertime Render vol. 1, im looking for that i grabbed vol. 2 because it was the only one there and I was planning to grab out of order anyway. Also I'm so happy that you were able to enjoy and grab so much manga and light novels.
*Side note* Props to your partner for carrying that cart! Idk if the cart has wheels or not but it should. That cart is full and that is satisfying
I was really worried cause a lot of people had told me how bad the stock was at FP London but maybe I hit a good day or they've changed things up cause it was amazing 😆
It did have wheels but he said he could pretend it was like a workout if he carried it 🤣🤣🤣
Forbidden planet sale section tends to be stuff they’ve had for ages if they’re not damaged. Apple Black is by Saturday Am which is an American manga company and they have a lot of different titles on their app but the catalogue has started getting published this year.
That's what I would've assumed but Witch and the Beast 8 and Wave! Listen to Me 8 are new releases 😆 Maybe it was a mistake? 👀 Oooh thats interesting I'll keep an eye out for some of their titles thank you!

Every time I watch these videos from shopping in the uk I get jealous of all the sales you guys always have. I wish they would do sales like 3 for 2s in the US😅

We need more light novel content! On CZcams. I can't understand why the offers are not uniform over the branches. In Nottingham everything (including light novels, which is what I get most of) was 3 for 2. But I had a drive to Sheffield (granted an International branch) and only manga was on offer.
Forbidden Planet Nottingham is an international too. International is completely different company to regular Forbidden Planets (Which London is). They used to be 1 but split in the 90's and are now completely separate entities 😆 Why the deals aren't the same between Nottingham and Sheffield no idea 😅
I'm going to do a collection tour of my partners light novel collection in the coming months. I'm just trying to convince him to be in the video to talk about what he's read 🤣🤣

9:41 i believe saturday AM is an american publisher who does non japanese creators. i only know that they publish creators from the us and europe

If something is 3 for 2 in Forbidden Planet, you can choose whatever you like with the sticker (at the price, of course) or only from that series, e.g. only Dragon Ball?

Here in my country, i don't want to name it, so all you need to know is an arab county in the middle east, manga isn't that popular, so the maximum amount of manga i can find in a book store / library is 1 shelf with not much of a selection to choose from, i can only find a couple volume of the most popular series like aot, hxh, demon slayer or horimiya. And ofc it's only in big well-known stores close to it in the capital city. I live close to the country side 🥲
Oh dang I hope more stores near you start stocking more! I assume it would be scary pricey to ship stuff over 😩
I’ve been struggling to find skip & loafer volumes for some time now, i only managed to grab vol 2 at the moment. The other volumes are like impossible to find in my place
I've been the other way round! Vol 2 is the only one of Skip & Loafer that's been really hard to find in store 🤣
