Poor Charles 😥 he may be the King and 73 years old, but he's still mummy's heartbroken little boy.
I can see that he loved and admired his mum more than words can express, and that alone tells me that he has a good heart, and he's going to be an amazing King. He would never, in a million years, let his her down.
My deepest condolences to King Charles III, and every member of Queen Elizabeth II's family.

I have no clue as to how so many family and dignitaries maintained such composure. I was in pieces just watching on TV, looking at the sad faces, particularly of our King, and even at little but deeply touching moments such as our late Queen's pony waiting patiently with the grooms on The Long Walk at Windsor.
I had the honour of photographing the then Prince Charles at a local event, and know without doubt that he will fall completely and effortlessly into his new role. He is witty, caring and interested, and a consummate and extremely knowledgeable professional. Long live the King.
So heartbreaking to see the sadness in Charles eyes as his mother’s casket is slowly lowering the ground, may she Rest In Peace.

I know we don’t like Charles in specific circumstances but here I just see a man who’s lost his mom! Who I feel hasn’t seriously grieved, he’s been in the spotlight and in meetings right after her death. I know he’s been waiting for his time to reign but I seriously doubt he was ready to take the lead while grieving to an extent.
