Nice touch with the interspersed Black Metal bit. Still one of the funniest things I’ve heard from the glorious internet. “What kind of leads you want, I got all kinds of leads”
Sounds excellent! Congrats Jason!!

Sounds bloody great, blokes! Will be a popular beast for sure. Congrats.
Thanks mate, looking forward to bringing it over for a visit!
Bravo Jason for this beautiful amp which sounds very good, the purple suits it very well and Simon's demo really highlights the versatility and quality of the sounds of this head, super cool ;-)
Great sounding amp!
Those AIC and VH licks…that tone is spot on!🤘🏻
Woah. Sounds killer.
Evil indeed! Good stuff.

This sounds EVILIZED! 🤘🎸🎸🤘
Before I read Joe Baressi and just saw “Evil Joe” I thought you named the amp after the American President. 🤣
haha
Boy that would have been a horrible sounding, sluggish, useless amplifier 😂
Fuck yeah jase sounds awesome
It’s been quite a while sense checking in with Jason. Would love to know if he’s released a head that competes with something as ultra-percussive, and mid-focused, and tight as an SLO 100 or a Splawn Quickrod. It’s been a real joy to watch his channel grow to where if I understand properly, he’s building amps full time now??? I couldn’t be happier for him.
Yep, been full time for a year now
@@HeadfirstAmps Good for you, bud! 👍
You may be interested in Jasons hybridisation collaboration with Shea, this little gem was the result of reverse engineering a SLO modded 70s JMP Marshall (done by Mike himself) and adding Dual Rectifier DNA .. the recombinant formalisation was monstrous.- but just for good measure, the boys decided to feed it steroids ...
@@markingleby621That sounds like a cool amp. But, it sounds like you’re talking about something different from this one. Do you remember what that was called? Not a huge boogie fan, but Jason back in the day was coming really close to those killer classic hard rock tones. Not high gain, but almost a “super-crunch” if you will. These days, everyone is using too much gain, and it’s coming across as almost fizzy. I was listening to VH’s Fair Warning, and Great White’s Once Bitten the other day (both KILLER tones IMO), and I had to recalibrate my sense of gain. Because those tones, like I said, were closer to a “super-crunch” tone, than anything I’d call high-gain today. And, VERY rarely to you hear anyone (even Jason) dialing in those tones. After a certain point the tone loses punch, and compresses too much (including with SLO’s). Sounds good with lead playing, but with rhythm it get’s lost. But, I digress…. Always fun watching Jason work. I still owe him some info on getting some online classes setup for amp building. I’ve been promising him that for 2yrs now, I think. Life keeps getting in the way…. 🤷♂️
@@phillamoore157 - firstly life is short so don't delay & contact Jason / set up those classes .... while you doing that I suggest you speak to him regarding your tone quest - im 100% sure he is already building an amp that can deliver it.
Ooooooooh AIC riffs! Make a man Smile!
Dirt has some of the best guitar tone ever put to record.
...I feel the GAS taking over
So chunky
