- I’m excited that this video has become so popular; this was just a quick GoPro test video, never intended to demonstrate a quality mix. I have much better mixing videos on my channel for anyone interested.

This is what it feels like to adjust the treble and bass on my car stereo
Ok
same
hahahahahahaha good one
Omg😂😂😂
Just needs more bass and treble until i blow my eardrums
Damn Waves got so famous that they made the VSTs into real hardware
this
lmao
You know how long we’ve been waiting for this ?!??!!?
Bro WTF?! They really did?! Oh my god this looks exactly like the waves plugins, the fame really got to them
🤣🤣
This is how I feel putting 6 Soundgoodizers and cranking them up to the max in the master bus in FL Studio
I’m excited that this video has become so popular, this was just a quick GoPro test video, never intended to demonstrate a quality mix. I have much better mixing videos on my channel for anyone that’s interested.
*I'm amazed after watching this* 😍😍
_JUST AMAZING_
although this just a quick mixing, but it still amazing! most people just click on DAWs, this video is the REAL ART!
solo need sidechane out of voise// nice work
I still love it, you're the best
I don't care if you have better mixes. What I just see it´s completely amazing! Even with a month in my home studio I know that I'll don't be able to get the half of the quality of your quickly mix of the song! Congratulations Daniel! :)
Literally every time when the band's late and you're left with 10 mins of soundcheck.
When the Pultec kicks in.
Where is the soundgoodizer??!!! 🤣🤣
Lmao jajajajaj
It’s wired in. He just doesn’t show it.
HAHAHA right???
Next to the "Suck Button".....lol
Repping FL Gang
And that kids is how you mix. Simple as that :D
@* AnimalHeadSpirit * Hmm, I wouldn't compare learning to mix to mastering an instrument. I thing as I've gotten better, i learn to go by feel rather than purely cold technical decisions. It goes a long way!
haahh pretty much =]
@* AnimalHeadSpirit * Can't argue with that. Most "Mix Engineers" these days have a ton of plugins and other tools at their disposal to close the gap between themselves and proper Engineers. But the mixes I here from the latter have always sounded better to me, subjectivity be damned. And yes, I strongly agree that our Engineers deserve far more credit than what they get now.
Exactly.. Leave it to the PROS !
There are far more capabilities in the box than on a console....So no, SSL mixing is not “how you mix” in 2019.
Meanwhile in my ProTools: "hm, I think I need to listen to this at least 100 times more to be sure about this bus send..."
Literally me
CLA MIXHUB fr best plug in
FACTS
As a Live sound engineer I approve of the amazing skill you have good balancing and gain structure absolutely awesome effects
He mixed this so good, the mastering engineer is going to be confused.
The ME shouldn't have to do extra work. Mastering should be minimal
@@freshproduce2170 As an ME, yes. I always tell my clients; I can make a good mix sound great, and a great mix sound amazing, but I can't make a bad mix sound good.
@@SilentGloves me as a live sound guy i say shit in is shit out haha
@Thing Whas You get turd on your hands!
Silent Gloves I’ve definitely mastered some awful sounding mixes and I can’t agree more
Sick VST! Where can I get it?
TheTotoCraft bro bro bro bro bro
In Propellerheads Reason 10 😉
Lmao
Maybe on Ebay / Amazon 😂
..Very realistic
This actually makes for an amazing music video.
Wow. This is so satisfying. Thanks for sharing.
This was so great! Thanks for making this vid. After seeing nothing but plugins, it's great to see a mix on the actual equipment that everyone is modeling.

Whatever you did to that vocal was 90s magic...
The hardest thing about this job is you have to like every song you mix.
Watching this again a year later and learning music theory, basic production and mastering for a few months, I realized that I need to train my ears a bit more and I'm starting to get there now, really awesome work👍✨
Amazing to watch.
that pultec flex
Great Console Great Gear GREAT Work..intuitively

Such a clean and intuitive setup. Very Nice
Am a fan...Damnnnn what a setup!!
This is a piece of art. And the engineer is an artist.
Very nice indeed.
Sir you are a true inspiration.
I'm an 18 year old student, I'm taking a stage production class and I've been FOH engineer for a play and a musical, my teacher is Mr. Tobe Bean. He's an awsome teacher. I hope to do what you do man. Keep up the amazing work!
Me and I'm sure like so many others had no idea your teacher is Mr.Tobe Bean. I wish I had known this before i got into carpentry.
nice to see someone's workflow from POV looks really cool!
Also what a desk, nice gear, everything I could dream of :D

You are the best .. I love your videos man ..
I loved every second of this clip OMG analog is still the way of mixing :D
+1 But a CL5 is mutch lighter :P
Tell that to the 1000s of engineers who mix in the box. Tchad Blake is one of the greats and he mixes almost entirely in the box nowadays.
Awesome!! 👏
Such a nice session. Superb hardware
When you hear your mom opening the door, and remember she told you to mix "Get out of bed".
bravo sir, this was quite the experience to watch. As an in-the-box producer and mixer myself it was so refreshing! the end result was amazing, and the difference between raw and mixed astonishing. subbed!
Thank You so much for the sub, weenss.
This is amazing. wow..
Thank you.
Great stuff, wow you certainly know your way around great sounds you make it look so easy, i know it isn't. Cheers for such a great video.
This mans patch bay is so organised, its making me uncomfortable
best comment
Thank you !.. just discovered his band because of the video!
Beautifully mixed
It would take me about 2 hours to get a mix to sound this bomb. Such a fun mix!! Absolutely love your work.
It just goes to show you how much work and talent is involved to do a professional mix. Keep it Analog.
Watching a professional work is very enlightening. I've learned and heard a lot in the few minutes. thx
Amazing!
Not my brand of music to listen to but man the end product sounds superb. The lesson,... Great Console + Great Outboard Gear + Great Ears/Critical Listening + Great Technical Understanding Of Audio Engineering + Decisive Decision Making = Exceptional Sounding Pro Mixes,... there are NO shortcuts to excellence! I am very inspired by this mans videos,... and his studio, well c'mon,... it's pure Xanadu.
Bravo!!

Wow! Amazing mixers!
This is soo amazing...!! We wish we could have an engineer like you in alive gig \m/

Ohhh the Distressors. Love them.
Killer mix and fun to watch such a master of his craft workin all those toys. Loved how the vocals were molded until they sat perfectly in the mix. Wish I had something to send to mix! ;^)
So clean and organized, I get a frickin headache trying to organize the tabs in my daw... 😂
Epic....cool job!
I love this ! Analog is life !
Thanks Ceceu89! I couldn't agree more. :)
This is why I love mixing analog. It “feels” like you’re actually mixing and you’re having tons of fun doing it. I hate the fact that so people these days feel like this is an unnecessary skill to have. This is art that needs to be protected just like the rarest Rembrandt.
Thank you so much, Mayson Storm. I couldn't agree more.
