- Is the new Moondrop Void the company's first headphone, or their third? Either way, I've got the updated Void in for review and I've spent a few weeks listening to Moondrop's first attempt at tackling the $200 open-back headphone market. Did they pull it off in Moondrop fashion?

Best sub $200 headphone I own is my dt880 pro 600ohm. They make my 6xx sound grainy, and I bought them new for around $150. They're also very comfortable and can be used for pretty much any use case (gaming, multimedia, etc. ). The giant asterisk, is that you need to be able to power them properly, but I'd argue that you need to add that asterisk to the 600 line as well
Based and 600 880 pilled
Have to agree, my 600 ohm 880's destroyed my 6xx, I love them
Nicely Done.
Bought the X2HR for 75 bucks on Black Friday... I really enjoy them for non-brightly mixed music...
Well based your impressions and review, it looks like this won't be replacing my pair of R70x's anytime soon.
Better save more money for the Venus instead, or if just get the HE400SE if you don't want to save more money, HE400SE currently is way more cheaper and way better comparing to the VOID, or get the used legendary AKG K701 or Sennheiser HD 540 Reference I or II.
When talking about technical performance, how would you rate the Void based on pure resolving ability compared to the other 2?
560S sounds a bit more resolving but they’re not too far off.
You can remove the r70x cables though.
You could maybe review them next since you said you were looking at more headphones.
Oh it is replaceable? Hm. Dual-entry, what connector?
@@SuperReview recessed dual 2.5mm connector
@@SuperReview as Katholika says it's recessed dual 2.5mm locking, but besides that it has a peculiarity that both L and R is sent to both cups, so the stock cable doesn't have L and R and it doesn't matter which way around you connect the cable. You can get aftermarket cables easily enough from the likes of Aliexpress, I have two.
@@katholikasetiawan5026 OK, guessing that’s not a super common cable then.
3/5 without watching video, decent guess.
I'm hoping to get my endgame next year, wonder which IEM will win Mark's 2022 IEM of the year?
Will you vote in my survey?
can you re-upload koss headphones measurement graphs again please? they were very useful
They're still here: squig.link/hp.html?share=Koss_KPH30i_(beige)
Will you review quark dsp?
Got something planned for it.
Please do a review on Moondrop quarks DSP ⚡
I have on ordered, will be included in a big budget tournament I'm doing soon.
@@SuperReview Glad to hear you're not gonna pass on them. I got mine three days back, they sound amazing. The only problem is the soundstage, It's just too narrow. Sharur said that the low frequencies are delayed 5ms on them probably due to DSP lag and that's the reason why there's no perceivable soundstage (no time left for reverbs I'm assuming)
So is Hifiman He400se more worth it?
Never heard it.
Very sad when you aren't feeling like your usual self. Feel better Moondrop.
Moondroop
First the Stellaris flop, then this potential flop as well. What happened I wonder, they exchanged the engineers or switched factories or something?
Can't all be perfect. Venus is pretty solid.
could of said it was shit at the start of the review and saved me some time.
Moondrop "best art" because it's huge right? right? lol. so, there's not much of update/upgrade from the original. and it still looks cheap. I rather get the Philips SHP9500, even for a gift to a girl.
anyway, Tharbamar uploaded his Moondrop Void review video half an hour after you went on air. don't know him? what are you waiting for, check him out now
Why specifically a gift for a girl lol?
@@chair5728 just a thought. why not?
@@barbasour No I was wondering if there was any reason why it’s for a girl, just haven’t heard of gendered headphones before haha
@@chair5728 I suggest don't think too much or pursue further into it, though if you insist and if I may, I think most human commonly accept that colors somehow represent gender in some ways, and why I prefer to give a pair of black colored headphones to a girl rather than white. I bet you've heard that stereotype. like I said, it's just a thought. at least her present doesn't look, feel, & sound cheap.
