  • Exploring Fort Armistead Park in Baltimore, it was a sketchy location but a great adventure! I was also able to reach the historic Fort Carroll by air with my DJI Mavic Air 2!

Very cool! Came across your video sadly after the bridge collapsed when I was curious about the island. I live out in Washington state I wish I was closer to this and I'd kayak out there

Yeah it’s a very sad situation. The island fort is awesome to see though

@@adventureswithjoe22 I can imagine! It looks pretty cool. Especially as a photographer myself I'm sure I could get some great shots there and I honestly wish I could get a few shots of the bridge not just for historic purposes but there is a dark beauty about the way that it fell although I did hear that it sounds like seven people lost their lives.

@@RabidNemo for sure, luckily it sounded like first responders stopped a lot of the vehicles that were on the bridge

@@adventureswithjoe22 I did hear that! And my local news posted a story about some other bridge collapses caused by ships and they have typically been far more deadly in the past so this was extremely lucky.

@@adventureswithjoe22 I don't know if you'll ever have an opportunity to or what the rules are for drones but it would be fun if you ever got down there to see you go to dry tortuga in Florida. It's another fort out on the water but you have to get there by a ferry and it's a little bit of a hassle

Found this after the FSK Bridge collapse, as well. Fort Armistead is probably totally unsalvageable, but Fort Carroll reminds me of Fort Macomb in New Orleans (aka "Carcosa" from season one of True Detective)...just an overgrown time capsule. It's very cool.
It could've been another Fort Delaware State Park, but alas...

So much potential from a great relic of our history. I wish they would do more
