- Yo! Just grabbed another OEM Alpine Stereo from the junkyard but this time it has the OEM CD Player attached, sadly there's no sound so we're going to dive into it to figure out the problem

I have this CD player and couldn't figure out how the bracketry was mounted. Now I know, ty.
dude I almost destroyed the first one I got in the jy years ago because of that bracket haha I'm very happy I was able to help you preserve it!
Dude, you should totally try the hunt down the old "3000 Series" equalizer! A great addition if you're considering leaving the factory radio in! I recently just picked up a factory deck last weekend!
DUDE NICE! I would love to find one of those, such a rare piece for sure if I ever found one at a reasonable price 😍 haha
Any chance you can update the description of your video with the Radio Receiver and CD Player part numbers? Scouring the internet with no luck.
Yo! I have a few backups in my storage for personal use so I'll look for them within these few days. I'll comment back again when I've updated the description!
What is the device you are talking about that made it worked?
no but HOW did you get the cd player out? you're the only source on the internet and I'm paused on the bracket and it's not helping hmmm..
Oh it’s two Philips head screws behind the console that you can access on each side of the footwell, you’ll see em if you just look directly behind the stereo from that angle with a flash light. They should be a brass color, you got to have a long screw driver & the bracket for the cd player should stay in place when you take out both. Basically destroyed a CB7 console like 8 years ago when I ran into one my first time lol just take it slow
If you have any more questions just message me on instagram @paycotsunami
you're faster than chatgpt haha no way thanks
Did you ever get the CD player to function? I have a "3000" Series tape/radio with the add-on CD player, and I have the same issue with the CD player, it no longer functions.
I've gone and grabbed 3 in total since then. None of them function properly and honestly I've taken all three of them apart extensively to no avail 🙅 only thing I've seen is the actual CD motor went out. I personally gave up on a functional cd player so now it's in for looks in the CB7. I hope you have better luck than I did, next step is to take it to a shop to see if they can figure it out
@@PaycoTsunami Bummer. I too have sourced a second 2nd player, and it also doesn't work. I heard of a place in NY called United Radio that's supposed to be the best repair shop in the county (Honda does or at least did send their radios there for warranty repair and remanufacturing). I think I'm gonna give them a shot.
@@jtp336 DUDE thats sick! Let me know how it goes, if it works out i'll be sending a few units over there myself! Add me on my IG Account
@@PaycoTsunami I don't have IG, but I'll subscribe to your youtube, and post back here if I have any success with them.
@@PaycoTsunami Do you still have one of those CD players? I think I might know some people who could fix them over here on the East Coast lol
