Like many others, I picked up a Vendetta during HH's "Christmas in July" event. It's still in the box...partly because I've been busy working on two Rlaarlo AK-917s, and partly because 105 is the lowest temp we've had in the past 3-4 weeks...but, I do plan to bash it for a lil while before building it into a speedrun car. And, thanks to your video, I now know of additional options. 🤙🏼

That build is amazing I just picked up a vendetta , and I’m definitely going to make it just for speed runs, and again that is awesomely amazing 🤩 definitely going to fishing line my tires now cause I have a problem with blowing them once I get on the throttle, the perfect pass would probably help with that, that a bunch man.

Bro. I spent over $100 on just getting the suspension setup to a better position and firmness. I put RCAWD Amazon aluminum shocks with perfect pass speed run springs. Fully compressed setting on the front slightly raise in back. But the turnbuckle idea is great!
I have basically opposite, 100% preload rear shocks, 75% front, alloy rc4wd shocks, stock springs from stock shocks, alloy yokes, diffs modded, alloy driveshaft, 27p 47spur, 130a esc /stock 3900kv motor. CNHL 6200mah 4S1P 90C pack- 107mph …112g lead weight under front foam bumper cushion …not even remotely close to lifting front. Also have the infraction red chassis brace . Wish these guys making everything for limitless and everything but the vendetta would make the skids etc to make sparks @ night, also the Demarco spools are where it’s at, ur doing right
Subscribed! I need help with my vendetta. I’m new to RC. I fell in love with speed running. I built FWD Drag Hondas for 25 years. I intend on starting another project but until then, RC cars are what I want you to tinker with. My first RC ever I built two months ago. It was a TT02RR. I fully upgraded everything with yeah racing alloy. Managed 98 mph on it. On 3s. Then I didn’t do too much research but I thought the vendetta was basically a limitless with a slight difference. But it’s a huge difference I found and parts are so hard. Like the air dams? To cover the control arm area underneath. They don’t have any anywhere for the vendetta. My idea was to seal up the aero as best as possible and see how fast I can go in the stock wax and motor on 3s. I bought aluminum control arms, aluminum shocks and steel tie rods. I also installed a hot racing metal driveshaft and I installed a coda racing center bearing and also installed the stock center bearing as well and the driveshaft is super solid. No wiggle whatsoever.

Went to my local hobby store to get a motor for my Al-917…. They had one vendetta left!…. So I got me one for 199…. Can’t wait to run it!

Is a 270° servo ok for RC cars?..
I was told (through a few Google searches) it has to be 120° total and 180° max. The rest are for boats/planes/choppers... Was I mistaken?
Are you running stock diffs? I put 6s power to mine and it will not even try to drive straight. It's like it's only 2 wheel drive. Ass end just comes around and gets uncontrollable.
Shouldve mentioned it in my video, but Im running kraton 4s diffs with silicone ear plugs for diff fluid. As weird as that sounds it works, lol.
Where'd you get the turnbuckles to replace the shocks?
Just bought some replacement ones for the vendetta/infraction and swapped those in place.
Question is. Is it a waste of money to try and replace everything I can with aluminum? Or will this be of benefit to me? If I wanted to try the tierod as a suspension or strut. What size or what control arms would I use to do so? Should I buy aluminum adjustable ones? So I can raise and lower the car? The only aftermarket part I installed so far. Is just the Hot Racing driveshaft and I installed an aluminum center bearing and installed the stock one also. I don’t know if this is any advantage. But the driveshaft literally does not budge at all because of it. I intend on going whacky with this build. I even went to buy a whole carbon chassis. Gt chassis for later in. But perfect pass doesent even sell one for the vendetta. This is when I realized. I bought the poor man’s Arrma. I should’ve bought the limitless roller. But I like the vendetta I think it’s an awesome car. Next I want to buy a front splitter. Side skirts and the winglets for the lower rear. Then wanted a better wing. But again in so confused as to what to buy. I see stuff for other 3s arrma cars and they look like they would fit but I could be dead wrong. Let me know any suggestions. Please.

@@michaelrittenhouse2544 A bunch of stuff and all this is my opinion on the best approach. I would go with aluminum a-arms, I havent seen a need for anything else to be aluminum. Shawn Marsh suggested it to me and I can see it has help stiffin up the flex in the chassis significantly. I have another video that goes over some recent updates on the Vendetta that will give you more info. Adding the additional bearing will help for higher speed vibration and that stock shaft should last deep into the 130-140 range without a problem. KanizRC does have a driveshaft which is great, but not necessary. Yeah, you wont find a carbon chassis cause of how the current chassis is intergrated with the diff housing. KanizRC does have an insert that looks incredible and has a limitless style motor mount setup. I would look into that if your interested. I know one guy running it now and hes loving it. The stock body will get you pretty far, but Delta Plastiks does have an fc100 body that you could purchase and it fits GRPs and 96mm foams perfectly. The Vendetta is one of the best larger scale (1/8) speed cars out there for the money. I hope I answered most of what you asked.

For the side skirts I would recommend just buying a carbon fiber sheet and making them. It will be more durable than the options on ebay.
@@speeedy_rcwhat option is better for the ajc skirts and splitters, normal or carbon fiber? whats the difference? is it worth getting all normal or all carbon fiber or mixed?
@@CRIMSONTYPHOON_YT carbon fiber is stronger vs the 3D printed pieces. I found some carbon fiber sheets that are a better option but it’s only if you’re willing to cut them down and fit them on the sides of the Vendetta. They help for freeing up more space on the chassis and closing up the sides that don’t let air underneath and cause a blow over.

They can but be sure to use the larger ones for the rear.

I recently purchased a vendetta , ran the first weekend perfect second weekend of racing as the car goes forward fast the back has wobble , not sure what's causing that..
Could be that you have to much gyro input on your AVC. Dial that down to about 20% and it should go away.
I turn the avc down completely still does .
@@shiraz18744 Maybe it’s elevating in the front causing steering issues, which in turn could cause the wobble. Hard to diagnose without seeing some video and seeing the car and how it’s setup. You could message me on Instagram to chat further about it.

My vendetta is faster with the motor it came with 130amp esc all I did was turn the motor up put mod1 ⚙️ing it’s on my page 😅 off road 200+ on 3S
