@@e-dod I actually found a full k20z3 swap (with tranny) for 1k. I start med school this summer but want to slowly work on a street plus build. I am thinking of getting a jdm k24, doing the frank build and honestly mirror your build if possible! The renovation is amazing. Right now I am just slowly shopping around for parts and looking at FB marketplaces for deals until I am set up in Austin

@@anthonylopez3184 Sounds like a solid plan! That's an insane deal on the z3! The frank build would be sick, especially with some cams to really rev it. I would get the ported type S pump from 4piston instead of the OEM if you can. And also the drag cartel lower timing chain guide would be a good addition. Those are my regrets engine wise haha.

Super amazing build! One question? Did you restore our quarter panel glass moldings of your found them new??

Im restoring a coupe too and you are doing the same I want to do.

@@Matzu_Hanma Thank you! I was not able to find new quarter windows unfortunately. Also, on the coupe the molding is glued to the glass. On the hatches you can replace just the molding but the coupe is different. You would need a new window. I got poly-carbonate quarter windows from plastics4performance. Very happy with them. Hopefully they hold up.
Good luck on the restoration! The coupe is definitely the hardest body style to restore as far as discontinued parts. My sister restored a hatch and more parts are still available. Seems like the sedan's have a lot of parts available still too.

@@e-dod yes is a big problem to restore them since they were just made on US and Canada, but I will probably try that company

@@Matzu_Hanma Took me about 3 months to get mine. Not sure if it was just the time I ordered though.
