I understand why an above average height girl would want a taller guy, just as a short guy might still prefer a girl shorter than him. Obviously, the farther you deviate from your sex's average, the harder that is to do. But generally, I think there is nothing wrong with having physical preferences (within reason), as long as you let the opposite sex have their preferences too without getting judgy and hypocritical. That question over Ukraine made me cringe at first but when you break down the question after seeing the guys response and the dads choices, it's actually genius.
1st question over faith (or spirituality) shows if the person has a core belief for building a strong family and being dependent for his daughter. Which is important to him from a religious background. 2nd question over Ukraine showed that he chose guys that will be reserved and wait for information and act based on information, not just voice an opinion just because you can. Contrary to popular belief, you may have the right to a voice but it doesn't mean your voice is important. Being reserved and patient is far more valuable.

At 21 I lied my way into a sales position. I sold ride on mowers and other large farm equipment with ZERO experience. I had/have the ability to lie and slick talk my way into and out of *anything* without ever using uhhh or ummm in my speech.
