My wife and I went to Anna Ruby Falls in Helen Georgia back in late Nov 2003 and
it was a truly memorable experience. I know it was a long time ago but it still looks
the same from this video. It's a very tranquil and soothing place to go
to unwind especially in late fall when all the leaves have fallen. The air is a bit nippy and
crisp at this time but very refreshing. It's good all year round. I think it's where Appalachian
Mountain begins here. Unfortunately, we are no longer together but I wish her all the happiness in this world.

I was here as a kid with my grandparents in 1992 they brought me to Georgia to meat family I'd never met. Being from New Jersey I'd never experienced anything as beautiful as the great state of Georgia the mountain views and the view of the stars from a dark high mountain were breath taking. I plan on taking my family to Georgia within the next 2 years.
Wow, I don't know how old you were at the time, but you sure do have good memories.
I was here back in Nov 2003 and it was just so peaceful and soothing. I love Georgia with
its natural beauty. It's pure and wholesome.
Georgia is such a beautiful state...I was there for only 6 months but fell in love with its natural surroundings

I went there in 1990. It's absolutely beautiful. Really enjoyed being there. One of the best vacations I have ever had.

The falls are stunning! Looks like a great trail too - so full of color and water. Not so happy about rattlesnakes though... and I had no idea they even had rattlesnakes in Georgia - thought that was more of a out west problem!
I have fallen in love with waterfalls! The sign for rattlesnakes really thru me off too, lol. We might do N GA every fall now or try somewhere every October for fall color, it was so amazing!
There is the eastern diamondback rattler in Georgia...

wow breath taking. what is ruby falls like in winter time around december 18 2021? I'm senior do you think I can walk that ..heard narrow paved paths uphills how long does it take to get there ? 20 min? not 40 yrs old.
There would be less leaves of course in December, but I would say if you take your time, you can get up there just fine and there were places to stop and sit in a couple spots plus you could rest all you needed at the falls. Its all down hill back from the waterfall also!!

No way, Florida beaches all the way. Same old mountains, pretty too, but so are the sunsets, and they’re always different.

The area is beautiful but I would avaid Helen as it has become an overpriced, cheap T-shirt, tourest trap. Make sure you understand all their laws as the police make millions each year on fines and citations. Also, for a Balvarian town, drinking may get you a DUI at the many checkpoints.
We loved all of the different places to eat down there
