For direct connect installations, what is the proper way to attach terminal connectors to solid core 14 gauge wire? Can crimp connectors be applied to solid core? Should it be soldered as well?

The power cord #4317824 only gas eyelets on ground wire.
Does kitchen aid model KDPM604KPS have the same connection as the model in the video.
