How did you get such a gorgeous flush from the Milani blush?? I use it as a face powder, it's sheer enough to just give me a hint of color. I've tried to build it up to "real blush" but I can't get that much color. I bought it specifically to use as powder tho, it's my 'dupe' for a lancome blush that is too spendy to replace - I love it as is, I'm def not complaining lol. Maybe your skin tone is significantly lighter, but I'm a pale-to-light (let's get rid of "fair" - the implications were intentional, it's not a value-neutral term, it's gross when you start to realize what it means...just my soapbox lol).

I felt that "it made me feel ugly" in my soul. Those Rare Beauty blushes are the worst blushes I ever tried. My pores, acne and acne scars screamed "hello". I didn't even know I had this many acne scars. I took it off immediately and wanted to cry.
YES, i wanted to buy them so badly, but i have genetically big pores and also acne scars. i'm glad that people are speaking about the texture, bc it really helped me to not purchase

@@StateofKait Some commenter also told me a blush can't fix my ugliness and just because I'm ugly doesn't mean the product is bad. When people said these Selenators were rude and toxic they weren't exaggerating.
I love how you don't just say "this product is bad" but acknowledge that it isn't for you and say who it actually is for. So many times I hear beauty influencers say "This is awful!" when they don't like something. Hearing you talk about the Saie concealer was great because I love thinner concealers with medium coverage because I dislike having a "painted on" face and needing to use products on my entire face all the time - it's the reason I don't even wear foundation. A light, blendable concealer with medium coverage is perfect for me - if they have a shade that matches me I might just try it.

I have been suspecting that this would be how the Rare Beauty glowy blushes would actually perform and I have been scouring CZcams for critical reviews and have not found a single one. Thank you for showing us how it actually applies and wears on the skin. I don't even think your skin is the issue, it's just the way the blushes were (imho, not very well) formulated that they look unforgiving on the skin.

Agree 100%. It angers and offends me to hear people wanting "positivity" in reviews. No! As consumers in a capitalist leaning society, we are naturally opponents of brands, we should advocate for ourselves aggressively. If a creator tries to be too diplomatic, tbh, I unsub. A creator may earn money from both Brand deals & views, but I am only spending my time on those who put me first. This is not selfish, it's essential for capitalism to work properly. Seeing consumers embrace corporatism as "being nice" is honestly horrible. So thank you for being honest. You aren't ever mean or nasty about it, that's not necessary either, but you put ME first and I'm not going to pretend that's not everything.

I LOVE the Ami Colé lip oils (were my holy grails) but after reading some reviews when I was going to buy another color, many said that they found black mold growing at the bottom and got no answers from the brand. I removed the sticker and checked both of mine and I have mold too. Make sure to check yours! I’m so sad 😭😭😭
I had that same issue and I've talked about it very openly on IG and CZcams! I was in contact with the brand and they refused to share their lab results.
I applaud your honesty, especially for the new rare beauty blushes. I was interested in some of the shades because most ppl on ig were raving about them. I don't mind shimmery blush but metallic blush is absolutely not for me. Your review is such a money saver. Thank you! 💸✨

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you using the chapters. It is so helpful so I can go right to a product I’ve been curious about when I don’t have time to watch the full video. You are one of the only ‘beauty CZcamsrs’ who does this!
That’s because chapters negatively affect our watch time analytics and they’re incredibly time consuming! The #1 metric CZcams looks at to decide if it’s worth pushing your video is watch time. If you skip ahead or stop watching before a video ends, it hurts the analytics. Adding chapters means people skip ahead. I care less about how big my channel is, I care more about user experience.

i finally got the fit glow concealer on your rec and i love it, i wasn’t sure i would be a thick, single dot concealer but its really so much better for me than all the serum based concealers i was using before. though im wondering what your favorite way to apply is? i’m dotting with fingers right now that works but not sure it’s the best approach?

Agree about the rare powder blushes yikessss. I like the haus labs pink glowy one though! The innbeauty spf is a dream, life-changing. I’m also loving the saie concealer super blurring and I’m pale but shade 2 is working

thank you for your input on the rare beauty blushes. the marketing material looks so so amazing and tempting but I had the sneaking position that they would be in that uncanny valley between blush and highlighter. A long long loooong time ago I used to own a soap and glory blush/highlighter like that, also drawn in by the packaging, but never ended up wearing it because it was just too shiny to be worn as a blush but too pigmented to be a standalone highlighter

SO appreciate the honest reviews, and I like when you mention if you think it’s just something that’s not for you v/s real formula challenges. Would you be open to doing a video on how you came to get an autism diagnosis? (totally respect if you’d rather not though!) After watching some videos I’m wondering if I might be as well, but unsure of what a diagnosis would give me besides a certain validation and making my life make a bit more sense in light of it?

That prequel sunscreen flakes on me too, I only use it now if I’m going to be washing my face right after like going for a run or to the gym, somewhere no one will be looking at me 😂

We have a very similar skin tone and makeup preferences, so I always look forward to these ... I'm looking at it onscreen and not IRL but I think that Milani bronzer looks fantastic on you, my 2 cents. I'm also going to have to check out the Pillow Talk Fair lip cheat, that looks like a perfect shade. I REALLY wish brands would stop adding strong flavor/fragrance, especially to lip products.

I actually love the liv tinted skin tint. However, I didn’t use it as my only spf, just because of the price point. I layered a cheaper spf underneath.

I’ve hit pan on my makeup by Mario skin enhancer.I may try the Milani cream bronzer before I re up on the skin enhancer the formula and color look nice. I’m your skin depth but neutral.

Is the scent in the Milani stains the same as the scent in the lipsticks from the color fetish line? I don't mind the scent in the lipsticks (even though it is strong), but if it's different in the stains I might not buy!
The Prequel Balm irritated my (outrageously sensitive, rosacea prone) skin too! When I reached out they refunded me no questions asked.

I found the RB luminous blushes to be incredibly horrible on me too. I have acne prone skin, super oily and huge pores. It was like putting metallic foils on my face, ugh
