  • Finally we got a good up close look with the Glock 43X.We go over the specifications of the Glock 43X, we do some comparison with a Glock 43. Then fire the handgun for the first time.

good one guys...I carry a g43 that got customized by Robar , just picked up the 43x. I shoot them about the same but the 43x is faster between shots as you would expect with the longer grip..I am thinking about putting my Robar slide on the 43x frame..

Stealth gear has come up with holsters for both new Glocks.

Great video! Any thoughts regarding the aesthetics of the 43x?

Good to hear from you as always. Just got the new Glock 2019 annual, great work!!!!!!!!! I didn't know what to think of the silver finish. I generally don't care for two tone firearms , but the silver finish is growing on me. I think the verdict on the nPVD finish is still out, I know other firearm companies have had issues with their versions. I will keep an eye on it , but so far so good. I just qualified with it on the LE firearms course and only dropped one round on the course it was only the second time I fired it. It is a sweet shooting gun, I like it better than my old 43. Hope to see you soon in DB, be safe brother watch your six, Bosco..

Which do you recommend for a back up? The 43x or the 48?

If you want deep concealment like an ankle holster or a vest holster, I would recommend the 43. The second choice would be the 43X. The longer grip is less concealable but the shorter slide on the 43X is more concealable than the 48. But that's just my opinion. Thanks for the view and comment. Be safe, ofc Bosco

@@Police108Talk I was going to use it as a ankle gun when I'm on duty. For some reason when I looked at both Glocks at the gun store, the Glock 48 would kinda jerk to the left when I pulled the trigger testing it out but the 43x wouldn't. What would cause that? Just about the same, except slide length...

@@theboss1790, I have always noticed (especially s&w mp pistols) tend to have that slight torque when the striker releases. I have noticed it on my Glock 43x but I shoot alot of striker fired guns so I have gotten used to it.

@@theboss1790 it might be because of the slightly longer barrel and slide that it might be more noticeable than on the 43x. I may eventually buy a 48 but I love the 43x. The only issue I have had with my 43x is that the slide is showing a good amount of wear already. I haven't had it very long and have carried it in leather and kydex holsters. I will eventually cerakote the slide. Otherwise I have no complaints. Ofc Bosco

When I qualified on the State of Florida LEO course I only threw one round short of a perfect target. You won't be disappointed. I would just make sure your agency will allow it to be carried before you spend the money. Bosco
