Mine works great. and the gun comes with a manual on how to set the gas pressure. I was a GMPG gunner in the forces and you will have the same issues with the wrong gas setting. Dial the gas adjustment knob in until You get proper cycling, not harde than that. I never had an issue with mine for round one after setting the gas right.

To everyone that thinks that these guns just run flawlessly just read the manual and use 40gr+ ammo. A. Duh B. The gun still has a high propensity to FTF C. After doing everything the manual tells you and even paying extra for parts from M-Carbo I still get FTF issues. D. Your far more likely to have issues then not so please stop talking this gun up Kel-TeC needs to fix this gun not the consumer

I absolutely respect the opinion and review of the Police 10-8 talk team and am just offering a different opinion. I purchased my Steyr original M40 way back in 2000. I see that there are some differences to the newer model but essentially the weapon is the same. From the first time I shot mine in 2000 I was shooting bulls eyes in a standard 50’ target and love my weapon. The triangular sights were not a problem for me nor did I ever have a problem with trigger pinch either. The grip was not a problem for me either and I find the weapon very easy and comfortable to handle. In the last 23 years I have shot thousands of rounds from my Steyr and find that it shoots just as straight and accurate as it did when I first purchased it. The only problem that I ever had was that the last round from each magazine goes astray from the rest of my grouping by up to 2” sometimes. It seemed to be a common problem with the original Model. I have 9mm, 357 mag, 44 mag, M1911 45 and some practice 22’s. Of all my weapons I prefer my Steyr as my carry weapon. Again this is just my personal opinion.

I have one of these .they have a modified choke .it patterns as good as full length 410.i shoot mine like a pistol.2 hand push pull grip.stock to short for shoulder use.very useful little gun
