Had the pleasure of seeing Guy Pratt play the world's first concert in Pompeii with David Gilmour 2 years ago. Tickets came out on my 19th birthday. Absolute perfection and I'll never see a better gig

Wait a minute....Guy Pratt was in Icehouse ? I love Icehouse. So Guy has been in three huge bands for me in Pink Floyd, Icehouse and Toy Matinee.

Since i am trying to repair an Ashdown MAG evo 2 bass combo i got very cheap, it was cool to hear this brand are used by the guy playing bass for Pink Floyd and Icehouse. Must be a good brand i guess ?

From a camera man's point of view: lower the cam a bit so the verticals can be straight upright.

Wish you would’ve asked him how he got the Pink Floyd gig or what it’s like to work with David Gilmour.
You could read his book. It's pretty good if you're interested in that stuff
I think when asked that question in the past he replied "I recommend it to everyone".
How to get the PF gig? Dating Rick Wright's daughter seemed to work for Guy
Though, he did get the gig before the girl.
He explains this in an Australian tv interview.

Can anyone tell me what kind of new Fender bass guy Pratt is talking about?
The new modern series jazz and p bass. Don't remember the name of this line, but the basses have more beefy bridges and other changes. Expencive american build line.

Carl 123 It was. Gilmour left it outside the door of his hotel room on Guy’s wedding night after jokingly offering him 250 grand for it.
@@spud74 Yes. That is the story I heard him say on another interview but here he says he bought Betsy off John Entwistle.
No a 3TS stack knob jazz was from David Gilmour, and 100k not 250k. Betsy was bought off the OX.
