So true you never see an interview like this. He was completely prepared. I don't know if he prepped with the studio before. Maybe they had Matt Lauer ask those questions because they feel it's what the viewers would ask and Corey's answers were already discussed but he was ready. Nobody believed me either, not even my parents. I was 6 when I was sexually abused by my neighbor. I dealt with the mental trauma for over a decade. But why does it have to be in movie form? Sound of freedom was a movie but it's goal was not to expose a list of high profile names. But in contrast, Feldman's movie is being made for that explicit reason.

Corey Feldman tried to make a Sound of Freedom type of movie a long time ago. He knew it would be suppressed unless he had the money to support it independently in theatres like the movie we have today. If he had released a documentary or told any interviewer it would have been suppressed or overlooked just like in his book.

At worse, it could injure you acting career. Which Corey doesn't have to begin with. The man is no longer in the Hollywood circle, so what should be afraid of? That someone puts a hit on him? Please... Let's keep fiction where it belongs.
The question is not what he has to loose for giving those names. But rather, what does he gain from giving them now, when the promise of revealing them in a movie is a quick way for him to make more money?
I see absolutely no good reason for him not to make those names public right now. Specially after The Weinstein and Spacey debacles. Now could not be a better time for him to do so. And yet, He doesn't. Instead. He has the bright idea to ask 10 million to make a movie about the issue.
If you want to support the man, suit yourself. But I think it's very naive to blindfully believe his excuses when common sense dictates that he could hold on to these names for his own benefit.
Time will tell, but I don't thrust him.
