    Is it possible to install a device or similar in the exit camera location to work on the intrusion on the device or similar in the Heck Vision

    • @DVSLTD
      @DVSLTD  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi , you can install a camera with VCA analytics and get intrusion or line cross function which you can then set the linkage action on the NVR yes

    Can you copy video settings between models or do they have to be the same?

    • @DVSLTD

      Good question , we have tried on same , should work as most are basic settings, do you want us to test it ?

      @@DVSLTD it is an interesting question that I bet other people would want to know :-). It might get you somewhere around a million views

      @@P90Camper Ok thanks , we shall take a look , I am sure basic settings would migrate that are common across models, we would love a million views so worth it

      @@DVSLTD Thanks that is great. I would like to have some clarity as to what settings in the tool map to what section on the camera.. Does it overwrite everything in the other cameras settings? Will somethings stick like an OSD name if you copy across the video and audio settings? I am not sure what the CCD parameter even is.... In short, the parameter names in batch tool do not seem to map exactly to the camera parameters. So when you select a parameter to copy - what will it actually overwrite. How does this change if you are using different camera models with different capabilities? For example - copy video and audio from a 8MP camera to a 4MP will it just ignore the resolution part, but bring FPS, Bitrate, etc... Or just simply fail on the entire section? Clear as mud, right?
      Further - I hope you are still reading.... Another topic for a video would be importing/exporting camera setup using excel. If this works, it would be a big time saver. Can you import the settings from excel into a camera? You are the perfect man to figure this out... I am probably making seem harder than it really is. Perhaps there is some documentation on this I have not found yet. Either way, there are certainly more millions of views here as well.... :-). I will do some experimentation with my stuff as well and see what happens.
      Thanks for reading.... this rambling.

    These Hik camera are fixed IP by default so the tool only finds the one camera at a time (so all clash until moved off). I'm having to manually go in to set to DHCP. Any way to batch set them to DHCP? Many thanks.

    Great video! Unfortunately my Batch Configuration Tool can't see my IP cameras, only NVR shows on the list. I don't know how to fix it? 🤔

    • @DVSLTD
      @DVSLTD  Před 3 lety +1

      if they're connected to the POE port of the NVR it wont show them sadly , if you have a spare port on the POE of the NVR connect your laptop in to that and it should show them

      @@DVSLTD Thank you for your reply and support. I do appreciate it. Unfortunately, after connecting the laptop to NVR POE it still not picking up the cameras, only NVR is listed. I tried to update my DS-2347G2-LU to the latest firmware, but it gives me an “Update failure” message on 0% progress. I tried via Wifi and Ethernet. Tried a few versions of the firmware for this camera. Nothing seems to work. Do you have any idea how can I fix that, please? Cheers!

    👎 i activated a NVR with batch configuration tool password was Admin123 but for my frustration when i tried to add to the device list and pop up came to enter username and password, admin is the username no doubt and password when i enter Admin123 it keeps on saying failed wrong password..i hate Hikvision.. one of the most completed brand.....
