Today we shoot some expired Fujifilm and see how it stacks up against the newer high speed film. Join me as I hang out with my peeps Joey and Jason as we walk around the mean streets of Los Angeles to explore some film.

I've been hoarding this stuff and pro400H for a quite a while now, enough to last me a couple of years. I'm lucky a few stores still carry fresh 400H in medium format at MSRP...

It's because of this I always object to them calling themselves FujiFilm. If you're going to quit all your film, then call it just Fuji.

They make many other types of film that are not photographic for other industries.

@@hattree just because you associate the word film with photographic film, does not mean that the word doesn't have other legitimate uses. So it's ironic that you say "If you're going to have film in your name, make it", since they do make film. Its just not always photographic film, and they do still produce photographic film even if your favorite stock is gone. They also still operate the largest C41 35mm processing lab in the USA.... So have a nice day.
I haven't picked up my Pentax 67 in eight years. I hear it calling me every time I walk by it. This video was recommended to me and it brings back the sad memories of all the Kodak film discontinuations. People at the time were flocking to Fuji. Now look at us.

I was thinking I’d shot an expired roll of this a few years ago - turns out it was expired Fuji NPH 400. With that being said the color profile for both stocks are very similar. I really like how they render color. C’mon Fuji let’s get some new film going! 😎🤘🏻🤘🏻

My choice would be Mamyia 7 too... But I only own Bronica ETRS, so the choice is easy and as the prices go, my sight is fixed on GS-1 for 6x7.
There should be a site for poor people like me: "Buy me a Mamyia 7 - I can make my own coffee".
Never shot 160NS, but I must say, I'm gonna get some even for the higher price, it looks so damn gorgeous!

Yeah unfortunately most of the color film comes from Kodak in say way so unfortunately when they go up… other must 😬
Don’t tell anyone, but I do see the appeal in the digital M system… film mechanics but less money in the end … same image not quite but I just saw the price on Portra 800 😵💫🤣

Fuji is doing great with Instax and Black and White film. But color film looks to be on the way out.

As someone who doesnt shoot Kodak films, it really sucks that fuji is discontinuing everything.

@@BadFlashes it is. I have for portra from before Kodak pissed me off but once that’s gone I think I get to shoot only Silbera on 120.
There will be no Fuji left in a couple of years. Real shame because they make a very good stock.
