I agree with your list but I want add 3 more characters too that list like Luffy’s Father Dragon I always wonder how it would be like to play as him. Rocks D. Xebec & Green Bull I wonder how that Adrimal will play like let alone how would he look like. Plus in General a larger roster of characters to pick from than Pirate Warriors 4 Plus I always wanted this but what about a version of Big Mom when she was still on the Rocks Pirates crew. As a Costume change for her she was skinny and she maybe stronger back then, then now same thing with Shanks with WhiteBeard but young & Shanks with Two arms since WhiteBeard was talking about Shanks & Mihawks daily duels was legendary I wander how Shanks fought with his original 2 sword style. Have ever wondered about that? I did for years how much better would Shanks fought if he never gave his arm off intentionally to make point too Luffy just saying.

Things I also want in a PW5 1) a more difficult game 2) A complete story. Yes, I want to play everything again, but with different characters, versions, skills and moveset. 3) Moveset: man, this fourth game got me disappointed with lack of moveset. Take Kizaru as an example. His moveset from the previous game was way more fun. Samurai Warriors 5 has a lot when it comes to moveset. So yes, I want more. 4) Treasure Log needs to be reformulated. It needs to have different tactics and styles of battle, interesting events, etc. 5) Free Mode in Story Mode should have more content regarding dialog and unexpected encounters, for example. 6) Sky type character was a great addition to the game, but their controlling needs better finesse, like Snake Man 7) Please, buff Sanji. When are they going to make playing with Sanji be as fun as with the other from the roster? Although they improved him in pw4, we need a better moveset and AoE for him 8) Enough of original Story arcs, we want the ones from the Manga. 9) I also want Stories from the movies as extra or DLC 10) Season Content. Personally speaking, PW5 would benefit from having some of the One Piece Movies as levels; DLC content sounds like the most likely possibility if that happened, given the state of the gaming industry, but I wouldn't mind as long as the prices are kept to a reasonable level. But it would be sweet to have a giant roster of playable characters. Bringing back Caesar Clown, Enel, and Kuma as PCs would be a welcome sight and having characters like Kuro, Arlong, Krieg, and Wapol as playable characters would be fun; Hell, they had Smoothie, Cracker, and even Oden as DLC characters! Being able to swap between two playable characters would be a godsend, especially if someone wanted to main Sanji and had trouble with encountering female characters in the unscripted Treasure Logs. Lastly, one funny idea I had would be to include the ever-elusive PandaMan as a playable character. He was featured as a hidden boss in OP Romance Dawn for the DS, but that game didn't do so well. Still, I'd love to see how they'd interpret him as a fighter.

Movies as dlc. 3. New dlc characters.
Ok then, im going to share my ideas for the fifth game: 1: Make the game harder. Because even in the Hard difficulty you can destroy the enemies with the correct abilities like "Indomitable Spirit". I think they should increase the difficulty as you get stronger. 2: Stop reusing the same cutscenes and characters models from the previous games. I understand that they do this to save development time but we are already on the fourth game and we have the same cinematics and models from the first game for God's sake, do something new. 3: Make a versus online mode. Dude, imagine having 4 vs 4 matches, that would be really fun. 4: Story mode a little more faithful to the manga and more interactive. I think not many care about the story mode of the game as most play it for the gameplay but still I don't think we should settle for how mediocre the story mode is. I do not ask that it be completely faithful to the manga but that at least they do not make summaries because we want to play that moment not to see it. That they make their own models for the crew of Whitebeard, Shanks, etc. Seeing them accompanied by generic pirates is quite rare. And to make the story mode more interactive I came up with the idea of bringing back the quicktime events from the first game and adding mini-games for certain points in the story. Also return boss battles with scenario changes (like the Lucci one in the first game). 5: Make the Treasure Log more entertaining. Because it gets boring over time since all the missions are the same: conquer territories, fight enemies and defeat the final enemy. Very boring they should add things like final fights similar to the story mode bosses. That it has many more random events that include interesting interactions between characters like Carrot vs Enel. That in the middle of the game more things happen to make the missions more unique and varied. Propose ideas.

I agree on the character models and cutscenes. Asset flips can only work so many times until it starts to feel stale; don't get me wrong, the models still work, but there's no excuse for reusing the same Crocodile cutscene over and over again unless you properly update the models and animation.
The game needs to be longer. I beat 4 and 100% it in less than 2 weeks. Hopefully a bigger roster. They added and removed so many between 3 and 4 it was stupid. And Hopefully I can finally play arlong

The 5th game should take their time to add most of the story and most of the characters, just for once, have 1 big one piece game. sucks when i can't play characters that played a big role in the series. they got real lazy with pirate 4, it plays really well but there isn't much to do, i 100% the game in 5 days, and i work -.- they just made it WAY too easy to aquire characters and level them.
Hopefully by the time Pirate Warriors 5 happens Cipher Poll Zero can have a big story moment worth adapting to games. I really want Kaku to be playable in a Pirate Warriors entry and his chance might not be through yet. He was promoted from Cipher Poll Nine to Zero along with Rob Lucci but I don't think he has done much in the position yet. Cipher Poll Zero has some attention on them in the Wano arc though. Who knows what will happen.
I would like to see new game modes like maybe capture the flag or capturing bases in a 4 v 4 type style or maybe 6 v 6. Hell the multiplayer could have a story for both sides have one side be attackers while other side is defenders trying not to lose their territories and I would like the roster to be wayyyyyy wayyyyyy bigger should of never removed characters.
Honestly I'll say this pw5 should definitely be the big changes that we asked for with the 4th game like more characters more costumes more stories more missions and even more DLC like I really blame the developers for doing something like this to a game that can sell a million times more if they actually stuck with it
Before Gear 5th I didn’t have an interest in buying any Pirate Warriors games. Now that I’ve seen a bit of the potential of such a concept I’d be beyond “just shut up and take my money” if they run with what such a power could do. Being able to change the reality of the game even for a short time could let so much crazy and interesting things be created for a game.
1. Air combat needs to be fixed. Players are too high and do that weird vacuum thing to actually hit foes that look awful and janky. Flying types are hard to hit opponents 2. Bring back Skypiea, I cant believe they took it out in PW4 considering how important it was to the story. More importantly bring back Enel as a playable character. 3. Bring back kizuna rushes the combo ultimates 4. Make areas larger like marineford. Giant characters struggle 5. Make all characters viable. Characters like whitebeard was a powerhouse in PW3 (as he should be) and tashigi was actually viable, now she's literally not and her whole gimmick was replaced by Okiku instead of just fixing tashigi 6. Bring back the unique moves like in PW3 that if you knew how to use them they were actually really nice (like kizuna rush and zoro's shishi-sonson and whitebeard's back hand) 7. Have characters slightly more customizable. For instance, have actual items attachable that provide different benefits outside if just leveling up (like attaching Cavendish's sword to brook and his speed increases). 8. Dashing during combo should continue combo like PW3 9. All characters should have a fun and useful gimmick. Stop making characters' combat boring
Are you serious? The level system in that game was horrible. It took a really long time to break the limit of a single character and in order to get their full combos you had to break their limit. Hopefully this system never comes back, it was very tedious and made you tire of the game. Plus: The steam version of the game has no steam cloud, so if you formatted your computer or deleted the game all your progress is lost so all your effort was in vain.

I have been playing warriors 3 for like 3 years straight because the leveling system was difficult so I had to play it to see the end it was like a challenge for me. So What’s the point when you unlock all the characters and finish all the episodes in one week???? So you are telling me they spent two years for the game just for you to play it for 1 month????
I admit, the level break took a while to work though. But I don't like PW4's customize system. When I play as a character, I want all their skills available in battle, not just four of my choosing. I'd be happy if the developers could remove the customization system, but keep the coin island leveling up method.
It probly wont even go into development until the manga is finished with Wano or at very least the Raid on Onigashima Also with the new generation of consoles I'd like to see every arc get a series of atleast 2 or 3 missions to play through in the story mode, even if they decide to stretch the continuity of the series abit to make for some events to happen, PW4's story was cool but the full story would be even cooler

PW 4 felt great to play but you can feel it was empty game, unlike PW 3 it had a lot of content I hope in PW5 they add lot of content like characters and maps and bring back limit break which let us level to 100
They need to bring back older characters from the pervious game and pre time skip Franky, Nami, Brook, Robin, and Chopper. They should have kept the old lvl up system also how do we not have Kuma and Gekgo Moria and Marco and I don't like the new move set for Law, Sanji, Zoro. Only reason I say cause Law doesn't have the pirate warrior 3 chain combo with shambles putting cannon bombs on people was the best part of combo. Also some of the older characters all of them do t need amazing team combos or more then 2 off screen specials. Like do every Main Arc boss. I miss Enel the thunder God guy I know I miss spell his name. But like for real alot of missing main battles from other arcs.
I’m gonna be honest I hate this game it feels terrible I don’t like the air combat it ruins characters like sanji. They also need to remove sanjis girl problem you can barely play him but this isn’t all about sanji. I absolutely love the 3rd game no air combat, slow, teamwork and infinite dash. I think the 5th game should be almost the same as the 3rd game but better online and teamwork options like instead of doing a super with all characters with you what about when your online and with 4 people or less you can do a super with all together if close doing infinite damage but obviously disabled during combat. And lastly the game needs to cover every single arc and have every single character in the game also it….. You are onto something Sanji suffers for sure and not only him Marco, Mingo and other characters too not everyone tho some characters are deffinatly better so its 50/50 but the air combat in its self is pretty good a lot more combo potential and new dimension to the combat as a whole they just need to just work it out a little bit The team work is kinda meh in this game but i preffer it to some of the other's they should think of something that is actaully fun and have the option to play solo or with support about the English dub i think it would be a nice addition for those who watch with English dub but i think most people watch it in japanese so in the grand scheme of things i dont think it's that important it would be nice to have it doe

And I think the best thing to come back is the I forgot it’s name but it’s from the 3rd game and you press the right trigger and all ai and you do a super together it would be so cool to see it back. Also with the flying characters I hate the mechanic but if they did a option sorta like in the 4th game where pre time skip sanji is fast and post is a fly character what I mean is if they could possibly give characters an option to be on the ground or in the air but some are different so luffy will be strictly to power because he has other forms but sanji or marco you can pick air or speed and for my favourite character that really sucks in this game crocodile you can pick air or power and it changes the gameplay let’s say for crocodile if your in the air your fast and have more combos but if your power your on the ground dealing massive damage but is much slower and have more of a chance to be attacked by someone like jinbai but you would also have massive defence as well. Sorry for this being so long and bad spelling it’s a new phone trying to get used to it haha and thanks I didn’t actually realise you would actually reply I should have put more time into that comment haha.
I must say that Pirate Warriors 4 is the game with the best gameplay of the saga. Adding the ability to jump and dash has greatly improved the gameplay over previous games. Also thanks to this, more varied scenarios could be added (with stairs, hills, etc). Previous games were sinful of being very simple and boring in terms of gameplay and scenarios. The Kizuna system of the third game was quite entertaining I must say, but it was too OP, you could destroy the enemies in seconds and you know what they say easy = boring. I quite like that they have made the enemies significantly stronger with the implementation of the shield. I would not like them to bring the gameplay of the third game to the fifth, I think it would be better to polish the gameplay of 4 more, which still needs to be improved. Although it would be great if things from the previous games returned. Like the Quicktime Events of the first or the Kizuna mode of the third but improved and adapted to the gameplay of 4 (and not so OP).

Sarebbe bello se fosse un gioco definitivo nel senso che non finisce mai e che continui con il manga così da essere sempre aggiornato. Magari mettere un negozio dove noi possiamo comprare i personaggi, costumi, navi, tramite dei punti che facciamo superando i livelli. Magari ci danno 10 punti se facciamo grado S, 5 punti se facciamo grado B, 1 punto se facciamo grado C. Dovrebbero creare 2 modalità una sarebbe la storia però completa così tutti si possono godere l'esperienza di rubber, creare anche una modalità libera come magari poteva essere one piece ultimate cruise per la wii. I agree on the character models and cutscenes. Asset flips can only work so many times until it starts to feel stale; don't get me wrong, the models still work, but there's no excuse for reusing the same Crocodile cutscene over and over again unless you properly update the models and animation.

I was super disappointed with the Endgame of OPPW4, Treasure log was just a menu, at least 3 was a bit more interactive. I just want more Endgame content 😂

The 5th game should take their time to add most of the story and most of the characters, just for once, have 1 big one piece game. sucks when i can't play characters that played a big role in the series.
they got real lazy with pirate 4, it plays really well but there isn't much to do, i 100% the game in 5 days, and i work -.- they just made it WAY too easy to aquire characters and level them.
Hopefully by the time Pirate Warriors 5 happens Cipher Poll Zero can have a big story moment worth adapting to games. I really want Kaku to be playable in a Pirate Warriors entry and his chance might not be through yet. He was promoted from Cipher Poll Nine to Zero along with Rob Lucci but I don't think he has done much in the position yet. Cipher Poll Zero has some attention on them in the Wano arc though. Who knows what will happen.
I want kaku and Jabra in the games because they use there six powers in different ways when you see them fight on screen.

I would like to see new game modes like maybe capture the flag or capturing bases in a 4 v 4 type style or maybe 6 v 6. Hell the multiplayer could have a story for both sides have one side be attackers while other side is defenders trying not to lose their territories and I would like the roster to be wayyyyyy wayyyyyy bigger should of never removed characters.

Honestly I'll say this pw5 should definitely be the big changes that we asked for with the 4th game like more characters more costumes more stories more missions and even more DLC like I really blame the developers for doing something like this to a game that can sell a million times more if they actually stuck with it
Before Gear 5th I didn’t have an interest in buying any Pirate Warriors games. Now that I’ve seen a bit of the potential of such a concept I’d be beyond “just shut up and take my money” if they run with what such a power could do. Being able to change the reality of the game even for a short time could let so much crazy and interesting things be created for a game.
1. Air combat needs to be fixed. Players are too high and do that weird vacuum thing to actually hit foes that look awful and janky. Flying types are hard to hit opponents
2. Bring back Skypiea, I cant believe they took it out in PW4 considering how important it was to the story. More importantly bring back Enel as a playable character.
3. Bring back kizuna rushes the combo ultimates
4. Make areas larger like marineford. Giant characters struggle
5. Make all characters viable. Characters like whitebeard was a powerhouse in PW3 (as he should be) and tashigi was actually viable, now she's literally not and her whole gimmick was replaced by Okiku instead of just fixing tashigi
6. Bring back the unique moves like in PW3 that if you knew how to use them they were actually really nice (like kizuna rush and zoro's shishi-sonson and whitebeard's back hand)
7. Have characters slightly more customizable. For instance, have actual items attachable that provide different benefits outside if just leveling up (like attaching Cavendish's sword to brook and his speed increases).
8. Dashing during combo should continue combo like PW3
9. All characters should have a fun and useful gimmick. Stop making characters' combat boring

Are you serious? The level system in that game was horrible.
It took a really long time to break the limit of a single character and in order to get their full combos you had to break their limit.
Hopefully this system never comes back, it was very tedious and made you tire of the game.
Plus: The steam version of the game has no steam cloud, so if you formatted your computer or deleted the game all your progress is lost so all your effort was in vain.

I have been playing warriors 3 for like 3 years straight because the leveling system was difficult so I had to play it to see the end it was like a challenge for me.
So What’s the point when you unlock all the characters and finish all the episodes in one week????

I admit, the level break took a while to work though. But I don't like PW4's customize system. When I play as a character, I want all their skills available in battle, not just four of my choosing. I'd be happy if the developers could remove the customization system, but keep the coin island leveling up method.

PW 4 felt great to play but you can feel it was empty game, unlike PW 3 it had a lot of content I hope in PW5 they add lot of content like characters and maps and bring back limit break which let us level to 100

They need to bring back older characters from the pervious game and pre time skip Franky, Nami, Brook, Robin, and Chopper. They should have kept the old lvl up system also how do we not have Kuma and Gekgo Moria and Marco and I don't like the new move set for Law, Sanji, Zoro. Only reason I say cause Law doesn't have the pirate warrior 3 chain combo with shambles putting cannon bombs on people was the best part of combo. Also some of the older characters all of them do t need amazing team combos or more then 2 off screen specials. Like do every Main Arc boss. I miss Enel the thunder God guy I know I miss spell his name. But like for real alot of missing main battles from other arcs.

I’m gonna be honest I hate this game it feels terrible I don’t like the air combat it ruins characters like sanji. They also need to remove sanjis girl problem you can barely play him but this isn’t all about sanji. I absolutely love the 3rd game no air combat, slow, teamwork and infinite dash. I think the 5th game should be almost the same as the 3rd game but better online and teamwork options like instead of doing a super with all characters with you what about when your online and with 4 people or less you can do a super with all together if close doing infinite damage but obviously disabled during combat. And lastly the game needs to cover every single arc and have every single character in the game also it….. IM SORRY BUT THIS GAME NEEDS ENGLISH DUB I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT AND IT NEEDS IT NOT BECAUSE I CANT READ ITS JUST DOESN’T FEEL LIKE ONE PIECE IMO WITH OUT IT!!!
You are onto something Sanji suffers for sure and not only him Marco, Mingo and other characters too not everyone tho some characters are deffinatly better so its 50/50 but the air combat in its self is pretty good a lot more combo potential and new dimension to the combat as a whole they just need to just work it out a little bit
The team work is kinda meh in this game but i preffer it to some of the other's they should think of something that is actaully fun and have the option to play solo or with support
about the English dub i think it would be a nice addition for those who watch with English dub but i think most people watch it in japanese so in the grand scheme of things i dont think it's that important it would be nice to have it doe

And I think the best thing to come back is the I forgot it’s name but it’s from the 3rd game and you press the right trigger and all ai and you do a super together it would be so cool to see it back. Also with the flying characters I hate the mechanic but if they did a option sorta like in the 4th game where pre time skip sanji is fast and post is a fly character what I mean is if they could possibly give characters an option to be on the ground or in the air but some are different so luffy will be strictly to power because he has other forms but sanji or marco you can pick air or speed and for my favourite character that really sucks in this game crocodile you can pick air or power and it changes the gameplay let’s say for crocodile if your in the air your fast and have more combos but if your power your on the ground dealing massive damage but is much slower and have more of a chance to be attacked by someone like jinbai but you would also have massive defence as well. Sorry for this being so long and bad spelling it’s a new phone trying to get used to it haha and thanks I didn’t actually realise you would actually reply I should have put more time into that comment haha.
I must say that Pirate Warriors 4 is the game with the best gameplay of the saga. Adding the ability to jump and dash has greatly improved the gameplay over previous games.
Also thanks to this, more varied scenarios could be added (with stairs, hills, etc). Previous games were sinful of being very simple and boring in terms of gameplay and scenarios.
The Kizuna system of the third game was quite entertaining I must say, but it was too OP, you could destroy the enemies in seconds and you know what they say easy = boring. I quite like that they have made the enemies significantly stronger with the implementation of the shield.
I would not like them to bring the gameplay of the third game to the fifth, I think it would be better to polish the gameplay of 4 more, which still needs to be improved.
Although it would be great if things from the previous games returned. Like the Quicktime Events of the first or the Kizuna mode of the third but improved and adapted to the gameplay of 4 (and not so OP).
Oh, and i forget the character change from the second game that would be amazing too!

calling the support while playing get his bar full then change to your main fill up the bar again and then you have some kind of cool super strong attack
But the idea is to play with 2 characters at the same time and change them whenever you want

Sono italiano, quindi la traduzione da voi farà schifo. Mi piacerebbe se mettessero tutta l'avventura di rufy partendo dallo scontro di alvida arrivando fino a wano. Sarebbe bello se fosse un gioco definitivo nel senso che non finisce mai e che continui con il manga così da essere sempre aggiornato. Magari mettere un negozio dove noi possiamo comprare i personaggi, costumi, navi, tramite dei punti che facciamo superando i livelli. Magari ci danno 10 punti se facciamo grado S, 5 punti se facciamo grado B, 1 punto se facciamo grado C. Dovrebbero creare 2 modalità una sarebbe la storia però completa così tutti si possono godere l'esperienza di rubber, creare anche una modalità libera come magari poteva essere one piece ultimate cruise per la wii. Infine Aggiungerei più personaggi sia nuovi sia vecchi, alcuni personaggi vecchi erano stati messi ma non servivano più di tanto perché ancora non erano state introdotte le ambizioni come per es: Garp, Ener, Sengoku, sarebbero divertenti da usare con le ambizioni.Personaggi un po più scarsi ma divertenti: Alvida, Arlong ,Helmeppo, Hody, Marigold, Mone, Mr 1/2/3, Wapol, Bellamy, Pika, Kalgara, Baby rufy , Baby Sabo, Baby Ace,Anche personaggi molto più forti: Roger, Re oscuro, Oden, Jack, Dragon, BenBeckman, Yasop, Garp da giovane, Sengoku da giovane, Newgate da giovane, magari anche la principessa shiraoshi anche se non si è mai vista combattere però potrebbero usare un attimo un po più di immaginazione per es: chiama piangendo i re del mare e attaccano loro

Il 4 mi ha deluso un pò: troppi pochi personaggi: non hanno neanche sfruttato la ciurma di Bg Mom per esempio: c'erano solo Katakuri, Perospero, Brulee (che poi è Luffy). Voglio una Wano molto più completa e spero che non dimentichino i TobiRoppo: Pageone, Ulti, Sasaki, Who's Who anche solo da picchiare nelle loro forme preistoriche. Spero non tolgano Black Maria. Spero anche che esca su PS4 e Switch
