I drove in stormy and rainy weather into the Copenhagen city centre yesterday enjoying the continuous autopilot. It worked like a charm with 1 second delay set to the action of re-enabling of Auto Steer. Thanks!🎉

If you drive with active autopilot and then start flashing. Does the autopilot turn off automatically or do you have to "force" it to disable by turning the steering wheel? For me this always feels kind of unsafe, I would therefore love it if Autopilot would automatically be disabled by the flashing signal.
@@Speedy03101985 You need to cancel it by turning the wheel. It is perfectly safe since Tesla's logic is very solid when it comes to disabling the AP manually
@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets Thanks a lot for your answer! I know that it's basically safe to disable the Autopilot by turning the steering wheel. However it feels kind of unsafe because you have to "oversteer" against the autopilot until it turns of. Don't you think it would be a good idea to automacally disable Autopilot by the flashing signal? In my oppinion this shouldn't be much work for you and increase usability of the new function a lot...
I think a lot of your customers would be very happy about that. Could also be a checkbox in settings menu to decide on your own how to use the function...

Can you please consider the following functionality: when interior lights are on auto, lights switching on when opening doors AND when in Park mode.
Please make it possible that the lights only switch on when opening doors and remain off in Park mode. 😊
Every day I’m crossing rivers on a ferry and park the car in P mode. Nowadays it’s dark outside and it’s annoying that all the interior light turning on.
It will be very helpful to choose when the auto function must turn on the lights.

Ah this would so nice - especially in the Knob 😊
This would be great. Also, pressing the speed limit sign on the screen will set the cruise control speed to that speed, useful when you are going into a higher speed zone. But it is a small target to hit with your finger so a button to this would be good too. When going into a lower speed zone it sets it to the current vehicle speed if it is higher than the new speed limit. would be good if a button could set it to the new speed limit.
@@stephenhunt4591 That is true but the ideal solution would be that I can use my own set speed for cruise control rather than sign/zone recognition and go back to the speed that was set before disengaging cruise control.
I wasn't proposing it instead of a "resume" button. I fully support that as well. This is a different use case, with cruise control on and entering a new speed zone. The alternative to touching the speed limit icon is to touch the brakes to drop cruise control and then re engage. Or I could use the right scroll wheel to adjust the speed, I do this sometimes.@@kaamerasilm

I've been wanting to buy the buttons for a long time and hesitated, but the new 'continuous autopilot' convinced me! Ordered the buttons yesterday and am very excited. It would be cool if you could manually set the delay until the autopilot restarts (quicker), but that's just a small detail. Thanks for this nice product and the ongoing updates!

The S3XY Buttons have exceeded my expectations many times over since I first got it over a year ago. So many great new functionalities keep getting added to these buttons, much like the car itself. Kudos to the Enhance Auto team for supporting the product and making it better and better. I would love to learn more about the Gen2 buttons and if it's worth it for Gen1 users to upgrade, I'd love to support it.

Unfortunately we do not have control to this part of the MCU yet, but you never know. Maybe one day we will have it 😊

It seems like turning the front motor off entirely would also reduce power/acceleration considerably. I wonder if it is possible, or if a future update could include something like Subaru's Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD) whereby one could *reduce* front motor output rather than remove it entirely, allowing proportional and variable fore/aft power management... love my (8) S3XY buttons, just waiting for my Christmas knob!
Great question. At the moment we can only turn it off entirely, but we will see if there is anything extra we can do. :)
@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets it seams that there a sensor connected to the wheel who reduse the power gradually when you turn the steering wheel to full lock in either direction. even in track modus on the performance.

Drift mode will be a game changer especially for RWD users in northern climates. The RWD only models cut power when stuck in deep snow and it's almost impossible to get out. Drift mode will FINALLY allow RWD cars to get unstuck in severe snowstorms!

Can use Slip Start for getting unstuck. (in Tesla settings). I've never tried though

I just got my gen 2 buttons and sadly found out the wiper speed controller functions have been taken away for the 0.5 increments in wiper speed. This was the main feature I wanted because I live in a rainy environment. Everyone please reach out to the developers and ask them to enable the incremental wiper speed functions once again. It's in the UI but the wipes only actually move to the 4 speeds and auto. Please help us get this back. Thanks for your support.

Wow some great features! Two questions. First, I have the Ingenext Boost 50 on my 21 LR Y currently. Can I also install your commander as well for the extra feature? Second, for drifting, I have a hard time getting the tires to break loose in drift mode, even on wet pavement and RWD only. Any tips to get them spinning?
Yes, you can use both products at the same time. With our new update you will not have an issue with spinning your tires :)

As a lot of users have the S3XY buttons Gen 1 it would be nice to get a detailed explanation about the differences between Gen 1 vs. Gen 2. Is there any benefit to use e.g. the buttons from Gen 1 but with the Gen2 commander? Anyway, looking forward to the app update. Well done!
Just reading in the comments that Gen 2 commander gives you more options for the future and relevant only for users that want to see more data and use more complex actions. Maybe worth to review it in your blog and give some examples ;-)

Hi there. Both products are coming with Gen2 Commander, so you will need to use only one of them. The best option will be to just add some add ons to your order and they will arrive together. If you want to do so, feel free to email us and we will take care of you. :)
This is freaking cool! So basically this is the closest thing to having a P on a LR for example. Is there any other settings on this possible?
For now Drift mode is the major one. We have a lot of other cool things coming later in 2024 for the P models, but as always, the SR and LR models will get their fair share of cool features too :)

Nice pour why is it necessary to switch of the turn signal! In the Tesla even if you have to up again autopilot, the turn signal stop automatic, I should be really nice to keep this feature and soon the turn signal is automatically off the autopilot reengage ?

Great question. For now it only works on AP, but maybe in the future we can expend
@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets So if I am in AP mode and change lanes, the feature will reengage AP including the previous cruise control speed - but if I am in TACC mode only, the feature will not work, and I will lose my speed / have to reengage TACC after lane change as normal?
Just a question, why would you disengage tacc when doing a lane change? You can just press the accelerator with tacc engaged if you need to increase your speed and it will slow down to your set speed once you let go of the accelerator. Not sure what scenarios requires you to brake when doing a lane change where you would want tacc to be activated again. Sounds dangerous

TACC stays engaged when changing lanes. Autosteer cuts out
If you just disable ESP completely there is a big chance you will wear out differatials relatively fast. In some situations the inside wheel would just spin to top speed instantly because of the open differential. Also with both motors active there there will be situations where the front wheels have much less traction and they will spinn much more than the rear.

I'm curious about possible reduction in 0-100km using drift mode, particularly in my 2022 RWD. Has 0-100km been tested now that all the power can be delivered to the ground?
So you could make an awd act like rwd? Will this benefit range? Could be interesting for long trips.
Is it possible for you guys to make a normal turn signal lever for those Tesla models who have only turn signal buttons?

4:00 I have FSD so it lets me indicate the direction, there is a blue box next to the car on the display,I nudged the steering wheel to the directing I need to change lanes to and the car changes lanes and the box disappears and is all done while FSD stays active… For non-FSD it is a handy workaround…

To Activate this new drift mode features, would you need to use the buttons or the commander and the setup of some shortcuts on the dashboard would be enough?
If you don’t mind pulling out your phone and opening the S3XY app each time you want to use this feature, a Commander is good enough for you. 😊
Would it be possible to lift the speed limit from the AWD at 234 km/h to the spec of the Performance model at 270 km/h? Could be a cool feature and would hopefully be possible if you guys got drift mode to work.

I wonder if its possible to just disable the front motors for normal everyday driving, in hopes to gain more range. All in all, this is all pretty sick stuff. Good job.
Great question. Someone need to do a test. (its winter where we are and range is sh*t all around :)
The car does that anyway. Front Indiction Motor on 3/Y is just free spinning in low load driving.
I really want to be able to chain events. For example, I want to press one button and set to plaid, set steering to sport, set suspension to sport.
Ordered buttons and a commander for a 2018 Model 3 on 11/22. My order shows as “oh hold” - will I be getting the Gen 2 buttons/commander?
Yes you will. We are waiting for the cables for 2018 to arrive (shipping is so slow during December), and once they are in our warehouse, we will ship gen2 buttons and commander to you :)

Our S3XY buttons have over 100 different features and non of our users ever had issues, when it came to warranty.
It will be the same with the S3XY Knob.
That said, we always recommend everyone to remove any third party accessory people have, before going for a check up. Just in case

The pro disables the front motor. Thats the only difference
