I used to love this game as a kid. I liked making scenes with complete chaos, just tons of characters walking around at a time, messing around with their size, using a bunch of effects and objects. It was good fun.
Literally over 20 years ago …. Always watched my older sister play this for hourssss I can’t believe I’m 26 now and
I remember playing this when I was like 3 or 4 but never knowing how to play it because I was too little to figure it out lol so I gave up

I remember playing this game for hours but it's a lot more... complex than I remember lol
I had no idea there was a special effects tool 😂
So I'm 32 and remember spending hours on top of hours on this game... when it worked. I still played it as old as 13 and would use our microphone to record fart sounds and other obnoxious shit. The end result scene by scene was always ridiculous. I was actually really good with the mechanisms and sometimes drew out full backgrounds. That's the 90s MS Paint connoisseur in me.

I saw a tier list where they went over all the different Barbie games and they didn't mention this one. It made me so mad because I remember how complex and varied it was. So many hours I wasted playing this at my grandma's house. Wild to remember. 😂

Oh my gosh. It’s been years and years since I played this, but even then I could never figure out how to make a movie. 😂 didn’t stop me from playing for hours. Hearing all the old sounds is so crazy. So much nostalgia!

Memories! Back in '97 I remember I was in the toy store at our local mall begging my dad to buy this game for me and my little sister. Mind you, those big dinosaur computers were expensive back then and we didn't have one yet, but he bought it anyway so I could play it whenever we do get one. About 2 or 3 years later we we able to afford a computer and this game was the first game I popped in and played lol Thanks for uploading this! Took me back to my childhood ❤

Well just today I found out my brother broke my CD on purpose because he was mad at me. Lol

I used to play it all the time as a kid! I was obsessed with it, and I remember the silly exit booth and the beautiful scenes and stuff...man.
I was so obsessed with it, I remember when I threw a tantrum (I was 4 lol) when mom told me to stop playing because there was a tornado warning going off and we had to run for cover in the basement. 😂 I didn't care, I wanted to keep playing Barbie!

I loveddd this game as a kid! I listened to the tutorials and I made some great movies lol. I went from this to the Sims! I think I was the only kid that actually listened to tutorials and all the directions before playing it. I'm the same way to this day. I live for a good tutorial!!

There are external disk drives for that reason plus there's a download link in the video description. But the game won't just run on new PCs. It only works on virtual machine software like PCem with Windows 3.1 or 9x.
