    Good development. More private investors should be brought in to develop other roads and railways infrastructures.

  • @akinbodeog
    @akinbodeog Před 3 měsíci +9

    We don't need any more superhighways. Maintain the ones we already have and build rail. If we have fast trains departing from Lagos to Abuja every 20 to 30 minutes, nobody will need to drive there.

      It's private and it's just alternative road....So nothing bad in dis kind of project ...

    • @akinbodeog
      @akinbodeog Před 3 měsíci +3

      @@rossyrossy5110 As soon as this road gets built, they'll be incentivised to abandon the publicly owned one to force Nigerians to pay the crony concessionaires toll fees. It'll be like the Lekki toll road in Lagos. They promised that they'll be an alternate route, but they made it impassable so the private company could make maximum profit.

      Many people like you just talk without using your brains. The FG does not have the money to build the roads, bridges and railways. They have to invite the private investors who have to risk theirs and other people's money to do the projects.

    • @rotimikayode1072
      @rotimikayode1072 Před 3 měsíci +1

      Are you the private investors who want to put their money in the project.

      @@rotimikayode1072don't mind him. In Europe there is an excellent highway network that's complemented by great rail and air links and they all work in tandem for everyone's benefit. But no, some loudmouth that know nothing about infrastructure development will just open mouth and yahn nonsense.. 😂😂 Smh

    The private companies will collect it's money at certain points, but parts of the roads are done already. Just making it concrete will mean people have to pay. ❤This kind of project is normal. ❤

    Dreams dream dreams, all these psychopathic criminals are just not to be believed. You have not finish the Lagos-Calabar coaster highway, you are starting another road. This people are just too much. My opinion is that it will take at least 20 years to come to fruition. Good luck

    I wonder if Global infrastructure Partners, headed by Bayo Ogunlesi and recently purchased by Blackrock has anything to do with this project? I can see why a consortium of this strength could easily fund and operate this project.

    This is nonsense, 100 years concession? Why not complete Lagos Ibadan, then utilize the Ibadan circular road to get to Kwara state? I agree that we need to make sure to have a solid standard gauge railways to complement the roads we have. These criminals called politicians do not have anything to offer the country.

      Why does everyone feel the need to be negative? The FG is not spending a penny so it`s a net gain for the nation, not to mention the increased economic activity around the highway. You don`t have to comment on everything you`re not in favor of. SMH

    APC and lies are just like 5& 6, though I would have loved to see this come through because it's fantastic but it can't be, Lagos Ibadan expressway had been under construction since I was born and not yet completed, sango - ijoko-ojodu berger road had been under construction since I was in school and not yet completed
    Forgive my rudeness Ekogist for not even thanking you for your lovely efforts and videos

      Transportation cost carries more than 60% cost of food inflection in the country one of the surest way is to develop a good road network with shorter distance like what is being proposed. Do you think government will share food and money to you. No way they only improve the infrastructure to boost the private and direct foreign investment. No investors will be able to cope with deplorable infrastructure.
