A fan invited her non-fan friends at an SB19 concert in the U.S. After the con, the friends were so impressed by how the boys' vocals were so stable throughout 12 songs, a Kpop fan friend couldn't believe what she heard saying it was unreal, that the no-lipsyncing was seriously no lipsyncing (even in their sing & dance songs), & their verdict was that SB19 is the next big thing.

Well they are the next big thing but PPOP in general is fast taking on. People are always looking for something new something different though PPOP has been around long before SB19 but SB19 just made it popular. Along with the revised PPOP in general.

This is one of my favorite songs from SB19. Stell is the main vocalist and he's not afraid to belt out that's why I love Stell because he has a heavenly voice. He's soaring high. Sb19 is one of the best boyband in the world because they write their songs and they choreograph their dance steps. Omg...this song makes me cry...
That line of idol Ken was the best part coz it gives goosebumps to me. 🤍💙
The guy on the left is actually the Red-haired guy now- Ken(aka Felip as solo artist). He is known to he the Bass of the group, but what surprised us is that wide vocal range plus that RNB style he got. He is also the Main Dancer of SB19.

These guys (SB19) are seriously the best song & dance POP group out there at the moment at least in my opinion. Their ballads surely highlight their vocal abilities BUT it is in their live song & dance performance that highlights the true power, quality & stability of their vocals. Believe me they are no joke, they are wrapping up their first international tour today in Singapore, but there are a lot of videos uploaded in YT of their concerts, no fireworks, light shows, no back up dancers, no backup vocals, just the 5 of them on the stage performing...nothing to mask their mistakes if ever that happens.
You've seen 2 of their MVs & 1 ballad performance in WB, next is to watch them carry all that & perform on stage live. By the way you're talking about Darren Espanto singing with Mori?

SB19 is unique. All 5 members can dance, rap, act, write, model and boy, can they sing live!. They compose their own songs, choreograph it, direct, produce their own music videos and manage their finances. They also have the most bubbly and charismatic personalities. Now where do we find a group as young as they are that does all that? This is why with their unquestionable talents, their unparalleled dedication to their craft and their professional work ethics, they are among the most awarded and recognized groups in the Philippines. Yet, SB19 remains humble and grateful. Truly they deserve the success and the laurels they reap. They are definitely a group to be watched out for in the coming years.

I am just a no one. I am just a casual that listens to "Tilaluha" round Festival version. That song gave me chillssss
You are right. Appearing on the Wish Bus is usually by invitation only. They feature up and coming talents and the artists appearing in the Wish Bus know that everything is a live take, no retakes. In fact, if the artist featured is popular, audiences will appear outside the Wish Bus so no 2nd chances. As for SB19, they were featured in the Wish Bus several times and even appeared in the Wish Bus USA (yes, there is also a Wish Bus also in the US). A Korean voice coach once commented about SB19 that they are an idol group that sounds like a vocal group. Interestingly, SB19 write their own songs, choreograph their own dances and direct their own music videos. They are indeed a multi talented group.
I suggest you watch SB19 sing "Tilaluha" at the TM Pusuan Love Show. They sang it live and you can hear their vocal colors and harmonies.

Yeah benar sekali, di kpop rata2 perpart itu udah kebaca yg rapper dan vokalist meski ada beberapa juga sebenarnya rappernya yg bisa nyanyi. Tapi di SB19 mereka benar2 menyanyikan semua genre lagu dan kadang seakan mereka adalah rapper semua tapi di lagu tertentu mereka seakan vokalist semua .. bahkan warna lagunya pun menyebrangi semua generasi...belum lagi semua member punya warna suara yg luar biasa dan saling melengkapi...yg tidak akan ditemukan dalam kpop adalah accapella mereka 🥰

When it comes to SB19, the Wish bus sound engineer must have it easy, because the boys actually do physical mixing when they sing, that is, they control the distance of the mic. This is very evident in their TM Pusuan performance.
Their performance of TILALUHA in TM Pusuan is considered their top of the best live vocal performance.

tbh, josh has a weak spot in the vocals department in their beginning years but now when i listen to them, i can always spot his voice blending so well in the unison of their voices. he improved a real lot and i admire him for striving so hard to achieve his best.

Thanks for the RV! Yes they all can sing, and whether it’s acapella, with a backtrack, live, ballad, or dance song, it’s always with harmonies. Live shows are different tho, they tend to get more complex than the recorded since they add ad-libs to make each performance different.
For example, MAPA on Wish Bus USA sounds very different from the recorded version on the lyric video. Full performances like in ROUND music festival held in January 2022 show them singing in harmony while performing choreography.
There’s also an older (2021) fan-made compilation of them harmonizing acapella whether it’s a ballad, dance song, or rap. Most of what’s in that video were requests or challenges made on the spot.
Wish Bus actually showcases both veteran singers in the industry and up and coming newbie but talented singers who need a push into the mainstream.
A group of real talents...not auto tuned... no lip synching.... what you hear is what you get, live or not...

Pablos is a proven genuise to the point he can give a role even for the weakess member regarding vocals until they improve... and now, we're proud that Justin and Josh has a beautiful voice now. If you note other performances you will notice each of them holds their microphones at different distances at different times (or inside the wish bus, they vary their mouth's distance fr the mic). They have their own internal sound engineering as well, which I guess, is orchestrated by their leader, Pablo. You can also see this natural mic distancing clearly in their TM Pusuan performance, they were also just sitting down.
These guys, SB19, are powerhouse, composer, creative director, choreographer, ceo of clothing line, all can rap, sing and dance superb. Their talents are exceptional and get very grounded.

The difference between KPOP and PPOP is that all members of PPOP Group (especially SB19) can sing well, rap, harmonize, and dance. KPOP groups are mostly divided into teams such as hip-hop, vocal, and performance or dance. And that's what I liked about PPOP groups, particularly SB19: they all can do everything from ballad songs to dance performances-even rapping. They're going to be the next big names in the Philippine music industry and even global.
