- I've been attempting to learn how to play the recorder (and a few other instruments) for about a year and a half. When I first started I thought i'd never be able to play jigs- they just seemed so fast! But then I realised if I didn't at least try, then I definitely never would learn... so here I am... giving a jig a... erm... try(!) with my questionable-but-enthusiastic guitar and bongo playing too.

I've watched all her videos back to back since finding her - she started off self taught, then started going to a teacher, I think when she did Grade 2 exam? She explains in the earlier videos.

I enjoy your videos, including this one. You sound great. The Aulos Haka is also my favorite recorder (but I only own the alto). I can play the Blackthorn Stick Jig in the same key as you on the alto (without transposing) without using my knee for the high F# and A because I added a bell key to my alto recorder czcams.com/video/NKiLo3_f73U/video.html.
