When an abuser loses their power, or when the one whom their abusing isn't afraid of them anymore, they'll resort to any effort to scare them in order to get that power over them back. Burning down parts of their new place or threatening their lives is what they usually resort to.
As a home owner, when i see somebody trying to break into somebody else house, i feel threatened, so almost all of these pissed me off. I think the fake door dash one pissed me off the most because i know older people that would've opened the door....
The one where the ex bf set that car on fire, putting a mom and her son's lives in danger, also pissed me off. I hope she's prepared to pull the trigger if he ever shows up on her property again.....

I'm guessing that woman was preventing the guy from seeing his kid. I don't condone his actions at all, but I have friends that are good people and their ex wives do everything in their power to prevent them from seeing their kids. This is on top of a nasty divorce where the man is paying for her, the kid and the home he used to live in. If it didn't involve financial shit, then yeah, we done. Same thing happened to some of my former brothers in law. The one silver lining is that they didn't have kids with her. Thank gods I never got married. And I agree, I wouldn't answer the door for anyone, unless I really know you. I don't care how innocent looking you are or how sorry I'm supposed to feel for you. Its your life or whatever awaits you should you open your door... the answer should be really obvious.
