- Our latest video features the inspiring progress of our little Suffolk lamb, Spartacus. We weren't sure if this little lamb would walk again so come smile with us as we watch him fight for survival. In the ram paddock, witness as we add another feeder for our big rams to ensure a smoother feeding process where they no longer have to compete for food and we don't have to worry about being trampled! Follow us as we complete our nightly chores which nowadays involves checking that everyone is in from the fields before we lock the gates for the night.

So glad that little one is getting better
Good Morning!!! ❤🤍
Good morning!
i love how you dote on your sheep and the babies, like Lil Man and Spartacus
Arnie, i think you did an amazing job clipping the ewes, it's all about comfort, not looks!😃🥰
You're too kind!😁
I agree! Those ewes will be the envy of the barn😂
@@conniesingh4760 😆
The big boys look awesome, especially Glad! I can always pick his sweet face out of the crowd!🥰
Oh my, little Spartacus is doing amazingly well! Within a few days he’ll be walking all over and back with his loving mom. I wonder if she’ll come back into her milk if he tries to nurse?
The rams love their grain for sure, lol. So nice to see all the familiar faces. 😊
That “lost” lamb certainly didn’t take a second to find mom and a get a belly full of milk. 😁
Lynn, your yard with the flowering trees is downright pretty. Love the look of spring!🥰
It would be nice if she would come to her milk but I'm guessing that she's totally dried up by now 🙂
It is so good to see all of the rams. They are looking so good. I wonder why that one is growing a unicorn horn. I think that the rams will love their new feeder. Oh, Spartacus took his first steps! He is just such a sweetheart. A very special boy. It was fun watching the sheep go in at sunset, which seems to be the usual time if I'm right. Arnie rescued 211 and he got bit! Hopefully it was a light bite! I hope that the corn gets in soon. The rainy weather sucks. It's rainy in Alberta too but we need the rain. Thank you so much for letting us know about Sparticus. Take care and see you tomorrow!❤🐑
He is a unicorn from fighting. That is scar tissue 🙂
Great job shearing Arnie. What 300+ to go? 😂😂
Ok I am 99.99% sure I can’t own a lamb where I live. I want Spartacus. Those little love noises he makes. Oh my word. Heart melter.
It was nice to see the rams up close. I wouldn’t want to be knocked over by one. Even by accident.
THAKN EWE!!
Yes, it is hard not to love that little guy!🥰🥰
Little Spartacus is a fighter and a most adorable one at that!❤ Great to see him improving!! Lynn I would love a Spring tour of your yard!! So many beautiful trees blooming! That looked like a Weeping Cherry behind you maybe? I have two and they bloom beautiful in Spring. Thanks for sharing and stay safe!!🙏❤
Will see what I can do!😁
I’m ’coming back’ as a lamb on Ewetopia farm! LOL!
😁🥰🤣🤣
Good morning Arnie and Lynn. Hi boys. You are all looking great. That is funny how all grain must be eaten. They are much quieter now. 2 weeks hey 😂😂😂😂. Oh my goodness little warrior look at you go. Mama looks like she still loves that little guy. Just makes your heart happy. And all the babies get tucked in for the night. Great save Arnie and you get a nip as an extra prize. 😂😂. Looks like you are ready to go to a field. This was a wonderful video. Such a joy to see Spartacus working at getting better with your help. Big big hugs to the both of you. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😉😉😉❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Even with a wall between them, she is totally smitten with him! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
A unicorn! ❤🐑🦄 so happy the little guy (Spartacus) is healing and getting strong enough that soon maybe will be able to go back in with him mom!!🎉
The next day he knock his unicorn growth off!🤣🤣🤣
I really like your hair pulled back. I also am so jealous of the lamb snuggles!
Thanks ☺️. I love the lamb snuggles ❤️ ❤
Lil Spartacus is doing so well. Hope mama is okay with him when they go to the bigger pen
She loves him 😁
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Ok, I have decided on the feeding system for my fantasy sheep farm. I can’t wrangle big bales like Arnie and I don’t need TMR, so I’ll use those round bale feeders you guys use outside for your rams, with grain troughs.
That’s going to mean rethinking the organization of space inside the barn/coverall because it’s not naturally divided up by the feed trough.
Hmm. Hmm. Hmm.
Get out the auto-cad 3d design software. 😂
@@justinanovak8040 And the atlas. Mongolia? Uruguay? Rural Quebec?
So many decisions. Is this strictly a lambing barn? How many lambings per year? Meat, wool, dairy, breeding stock, mowing services or sanctuary?
How many partitions do I need max and min?
If I keep plastics low by storing dry hay in a barn, should I be supplementing with silage? How do I feed that?
@@alisoncummins2726 soo many decisions especially with your unlimited budget! 😂❤
@@justinanovak8040 I might have unlimited access to capital but my fantasy sheep farm still needs to be profitable. So there are constraints.
🤍
Do you know if there's much of a market for sheep's milk?
It is getting more popular now, but Canada, in general, is a new, up and coming sheep country. Other places are doing way more with sheep milk than we are. 🙂
@@EwetopiaFarms Thank you so much for answering. I've tried to look it up but was finding a lot of mixed information. Always nice to talk to actual people.
@@Silvermoonhomestead no problem. I know a few people in Ontario who have started milking sheep.
Good morning from Minnesota. 🦦
Morning!
