'Welcome To Our Shorts' is a sub-series of our 'Beards, Booze, Bands, and BS' Podcast series. Here we cut out the Booze and BS and two Bearded guys just focus on the Bands.
In this episode, we are checking out #Bloodywood with #Gaddaar - Hudba
Just saw them live yesterday. They kicked off their new tour in India (in Mumbai) and they were freaking INCREDIBLE. Not one moment in over an hour long set when the crowd was not Head banging. Mumbai witnessed greatness last night 🙌🏻🙏
Lucky!!!! I can't wait to see them in October!
That is so great to hear !
Oh shit! I'm buying tickets.
This is the first channel I found which is actually talking about the lyrics. That's the state of this world right now.
Yes! You guys seem like real Christians, which are few and far between these days in the US, where I grew up, just like my fellow Hindus are distorted between using our religion for power our for good, same with Muslims, and so many others. Live and let live, and love at the same time.
Well said. Tho we may have differences, live and let live.
Rage isn't the only thing they show in their music: they have a lot of positive songs as well (Aaj, Yaad).
As far as the vote : convincing those who don't vote TO VOTE, is one of the few positive things we can do right now.
The (mathematically large) mid-ground CAN rise up and push the fringes off the front burner.
In my heart, I think that's what Bloodywood is hoping for.
Enjoy the rest of your day/evening.
Good man. Well, men. Nothing makes me more proud to be an American than seeing people who are of faith AND recognize that forcing others to live their lives isn't what this country is supposed to be, and countered to the notions of freedom this country was founded upon. Never change.
First: Welcome back! I was concerned that you were gone so long. Next: Never a song that I would have listened to but since YOU shared it, I did. It is a great song! So great that I am sharing it on my other platforms. This song sounds great but also sends a great message. thanks for sharing it!!!!
That's awesome!
I’m Indian American and Christian so I have seen how all religions can be misused firsthand. I totally agree with y’all’s input
Nice! You just made my day! I fucking love this band, too. And I’m thankful you chose this song. The album release is next week, July 22. They have some really cool vinyl options coming out, which I’m very excited about. You can pre-order them online. I have already ordered the black and red splatter vinyl.
If you’re looking for more, Aaj is another phenomenal tune to check out. It has a badass flute solo that works so well with the heavy music. I know it’s hard to imagine, but so was the concept of “Indian Folk Metal”…until I heard it. 🤘 It doesn’t matter what you decide to listen to next, because you won’t regret any of the choices.
im glad you enjoyed Mackinac Island. i grew up there and miss it dearly.
4:25 it's so amazing how much the colors match you cap!
Oh everything you said. Wow. 7 mountains of influence. lol that up.
thanks for this reaction/discussion.
21:14 ahh, you found the classic music reactor dilemma :-)
Bloodywood reaction suggestions is pretty simple: just react to all the MVs from newest to oldest, eventually you'll run into a video which is not their original work.
Moar Bloodywood is needed
Subscribed. I think your opinions are sound :)
Also, how long ago did y'all record this? Album's been out for 5 months now! 👀
(*Also* also, "Jee Veerey" or "Aaj" or "Endurant" or literally *any* of their tracks are worth watching. They haven't missed a shot yet!)
Hi, great reaction, please do "Aaj" next, its a freakin anthem. Stay safe and greetz from Germany
Bloodywood generally sings about something, but these 2 songs are the more political of the bunch... they are also most recent, so may be indicative of where their heads're at. For the next one, I'd recommend one of 3: Aaj, Machi Bhasad, or Jee Veerey. Aaj is the most recent and may be their best overall song - well-crafted, at times manic energy, great albeit more general lyrics, and catchy as hell. Machi Bhasad might be their most Rage-like, and there is a great live performance from 2019 Wacken. Jee Veerey is one to score them most loyal following for upliftingly-treated tough subject matter, very melodic too... Great, great band, very refreshing
Bsdk.exe is their heaviest politically charged rage song…and their overall best in my opinion.
So did you get the vinyl?
Just found your channel, love the reaction. Love the band. Thoughts on US politics. the only way to change is to start at city and county until you can make changes at the state level. Top down is not an options the way the system was designed. Just my 2 cents.
They not only SING.... They walk their talk.
Check out JEE VEERAY or YAAD
All your talk about American politics is missing the fact, that most other countries have more the two parties...
Regarding Bloodywood, one of the best bands around in the newer Metal. Absolutely love them. You could also check out one of their older songs.
It's called Yaad, it was the first video I saw them. And don't skip the ending of the video if you react to it.
Point 1: I do not disagree with the specifics of anything said (at least up until the eleven-minute mark; since that's when I paused to write this).
Point 2: Yes, every politician makes unrealistic promises - *BUT*, only one set of politicians are *actively trying* to cause harm to huge swathes of the population (here in the US).
Point 3: If, as you claim, both sides are equally bad, then there's no reason NOT to vote for the one that _isn't_ trying to hurt people.
🤘
Difficult to tell which side you’re pointing at as both sides claim the same. Is it the side with the rotting potato posing as president while corporates, globalists and deep state run the show. Or is it the side with “literally orange hitler” pushing against the corporate globalists…
😉🍻
@@mickeyd7283 you can just say "Jews", man. You don't have to hide behind euphemisms like "globalists". Be free. Let everyone know what you really think.
@@cybergeek11235 ze Jews! Are you joking? What are we? ten year olds? If I were talking about Jews I would have said Jews. Do you really not know what constitutes a globalist?
@@mickeyd7283 Oh, this oughta be good. Go on, enlighten me then, Trumpy.
