🤨
ik this is creepy....
🤨
Wait how is it LEGO? If the LEGO logo was not on the box, I would literally think it is not LEGO (though quality seems like LEGO, doesn’t it?)
🤨
Does Lego City have Lego Covid, you got all the mini figs 6 spaces a part?
The fact that the transitions in this review are non-existent makes this even funnier. Also, the cursed GALIDOR is in Jang’s hands... finally
Best. LEGO. Theme. Ever.
I know a lot of angry LEGO fans that could bet to differ
I have a Sealed Nick, and have 2 of the McDonald's poly bags. This theme truly is special.
Strait fax
Bugger off mate I love you guys but still
Are you sure about that?
Those faces reminded me of Team America World Police.
Oh god the memories 😂
Looks like we need... *a montage!*
Totally, which is based on the original marionette Thunderbirds. Uncanny Valley territory for sure!
Galidor the TV Show and Team America both came out in 2004
Things got real really fast with the combination.
The toys don't seem THAT bad from a technical standpoint (ignoring they are LEGO) but it's so easy to cross into "I'm not sleeping anymore to avoid the nightmares" territory with them.
12:08
WHAT HAVE YOU BROUGHT UPON THIS LAND JANG
JESUS CHRIST ALMIGHTY NO.
The last 10 seconds are gold
Breaking news. Scientists have managed to acquire the first image of Satan himself.
To quote a certain Mystery Shack employee, "AAAAAHHHHHHH, KILL IT! KILL IT WITH FIRE! EVERYBODY FLEE!!!!"
@@Dalek_Scientist god: unleash the crusaders!!!
I don't know what's more cursed: The fact that this monstrosity of a theme had a live action TV show with *26* episodes, or the abomination Jang showed at the end. Early 2000s Lego sure was different 🤪
At least the early 2000s brought us Bionicle lol
@@taqresu5865 Agree! That's probably the best thing to have come out of that era!
If I were 8 again, I'm pretty sure that I'd get a decent kick out of it.
Just compare it with action figure lines of other brands.
The quality was there; the materials used, the execution, the level of detail, the durability.
The interchangeability of limbs, gizmos and others, based on the Technic's pin&socket system, added MASSIVELY to the toys' playability and encouraged the kids' (bonkers side of their) imagination and creativity.
Plus they added some lovely well-performing play features.
Plus the range of motion of those figures was, and still is, a lot above average.
The main (and possibly only) thing that most people have a TRUE problem with is that it was produced by the Lego Group and that is basically it.
If this was made by Mattel or Hasbro, by far not that many people would have probs with it.
So it kinda stinks with "purists" and "gatekeepers" here, I guess. :-)
I never got any of the sets but I had the Gameboy Advance game, that game was a ton of fun lol
It's exactly what they did. Galidor was created by LEGO and the TV show was made for LEGO to sell the toys.
The human Action figure looks more like a Barbie doll then the classic mini figures.
Nick and co. do remind me of upsized Scala Dolls.
Jangbricks: The only place where you will have an in - depth review of some shoes form a creepy action figure from 18 years ago
4:10 That thing, scares me...
XD
JANG is now a Galidor exclusive channel
To be honest, had this been ANY company other than lego it would've been probably ignored or even possibly liked *more* by not having to deal with lego's reputation. Will say though that the robot character isn't half bad (especially the head!)
I kinda gree with Jang, Nick's face is creepy, but tbh all of the nonhumans looked fairly good.
Oh lord, you didn’t. Had Jens and Euripides when I was younger. This really brings me back
I had almost the entire first wave. In retrospect I share everyone's horror at the atrocity Lego wrought on us. But as an impressionable six-year-old, I remember my younger brother and I having a BLAST with this series.
oh he did. if you don't watch the unboxing videos for bricklink orders, he has MORE than these 3.
I was still a bit young for LEGO in 2002, just about 4 years old, and I honestly had no idea this line was even a thing! The more you know.. lol
Say what you want about these sets but they made for some EXCELLENT kid toys growing up. My brother's and I had all the sets available and we had so much fun creating custom characters. The non-human sets were absolutely fantastic and the play value was off the charts. Oh the ship was dope as well. Please review the other sets, I'd love to see your take on the rest.
Galidor pioneered the ratchet joints Lego still uses today with their large animal figures
"Content may be disturbing to fans of the brick." lol 😄
That's not Lego...... Oh wait it is
It gets even more creepy if you throw in some pieces from the modern (Jurassic World) dinosaurs! 😄
Jang looks so uncomfortable at the beginning.
Also, although that theme was a disaster I wish Lego would use at least some of these moulds. I would love to see those limbs in different colours in EXO-Force or other mech sets.
Yeah, i get that. And that's probably the case since non of the moulds were used. Still, most of them were pretty cool and usefull.
Nick Bluetooth looks like he wants to steal your soul while you sleep !
Or at least your teeth.
@@nihili4196 hes gonna boil your teeth and devour your bones
Just when I think your reviews can’t get any better, you throw in a Spaceballs clip! The Schwartz is obviously strong with you.
"Learn to knock!!"
That ending has probably been the best thing from Jang since PURPLE
I only ever had ONE Galidor set, and it was the big red monster. And I LOVED IT! It was amazing how many different builds you could make out of it!
Though when looking at the other sets, I can see why this wasn't a popular series.
ONI
I had him, these 3, and Euripedes (the green frog thing), I loved this series, though I get why it failed.
I fear no man, but these THINGS...
*they scare me.*
Really love this new editing style :) very well paced
i do love that Jang's voice just gets louder and more frantic from 12:07 to the end of the viewing of the abomination. I now want this in JANG city, in the center, being a godzilla-esque beast.
Shimmel looks like Watto... a Watto horse. Theory: Galidor is part of the Star Wars extended universe
Oh man these are my childhood toys jang thank you for bringing back the memories of them
I never understood Galidor hate. It IS quite solid Toyline. It is there with amazing Xevos!
VERY beautiful sculpts, great idea for mix an match...
The only problem I see its...Not looking like Lego. THere are no bricks there.
That's why Knights kingdom figures- even if blocky were much better.
I never seen the show but always wanted Nepol and his beast. I just love their designs!
Absolutely Cracking vid jang well done loved the slightly different style
Years of being subscribed and we finally get it. The editing in this video makes it so good
If it wasn't for the Lego brand on the packaging I would not believe this is lego.
Hey Jang did you know this had a live action TV show? It ran for 26 episodes!
This being repeated so much in the video gives off the same vibe as "Did you know that world-renowned writer Stephen King was once hit by a car? Just something to consider."
All the pieces merged together instantly reminded me of John Carpenter's The Thing.😲
I love this type of videos from Jang, they are so good
This is the best video I’ve watched today. Thanks jang. We need more of this jang in videos
Thanks Jang! That was so much fun!
I had Nipol and Shimmel as a kid! Didn’t know they were Lego. That’s crazy! Thanks for bringing back the memories-I mean nightmares.
12:05 the T-1000 at the end of Terminator 2 Judgement Day.
It could also be John Carpenter’s The Thing
@@SkyKnight251 it looks like the mega thing at the end that gets blown to bits lol
This was a very fun video and unorthodox video. JANG’s expression at 13:31 is priceless.
This was wonderful and hilarious to watch. Now to get Jangbricks some ZNAP sets 😁
This is the BEST review you have ever done!!!!!!
Dude! I remember you used to review RCs! Been a while. Good to run into your new channel
A lot of edits good edits man I am Impressed
Loving the new style of content.
I don't know if Jang realized this, but the tread patterns on all the figures shoes & feet allows them to fit on the studs of a Lego baseplate.
^_^ I could rewatch this every year. Fantastic video!
Actually both videos ^_^
Lol love the thumbnail and nice vid jangbricks
I love the (somewhat random) edits sprinkled around the review!
Also...
*TV SHOW!*
So nostalgic. I played with all 3 of these as a kid. I still have all of my galidor figures too lol.
Man, that shift at the end. Worth it. Though I weep for your dreams.
I love Jang's range as a reviewer. He can make highly professional and informative reviews and he can also do really funny reviews like this with hilarious cuts.
I’m a big Galidor fan! They’re great quality products, and I have them all. Even the rare Tager and Aquart. Very happy to have the while line!
Good job on your review, btw
Jang flipping his top at the end, A++ entertainment there. Also, can we just stop and appreciate the segment titles. XD
Oh gosh! What a throwback! I had some Galidor sets when I was 6, I only realised they were Lego set a couple years ago. Kinda nostalgic.
The editing and humour in this video is too funny. A TV show... 26 episodes!
Jang’s reaction and hesitation in the intro was quite funny to me. Galidor is certainly a strange line, but interesting to see nonetheless.
I gotta say that was one of the funniest JANGBRICKS videos I’ve never scene 😂
oh I love the body horror lego monster at the end. it's beautiful
I liked it, really looks something i would play after school. Very playful.
That ending took a funny turn!
As a kid coming from a lower income family back in 2002 me and my brother would get one or two of these each from the clearance bin at toysrus and had no idea there was a show at all. These things were so much fun to play with. There was alot of variety in character types and pieces man the monsters we would make to fight each other was crazy.
Now we need to see these Galidor parts used in your fancy city builds.
FAVOURITE Jang episode
Its kinda funny that the limb system is very similar to a lot of the modern lego dinosaurs, technic pins on ratcheted joints. Opens the possibilities for more cursed combinations.
I remember I wanted the Ooni but it was always out of stock. Thanks for reminding of this horror
Your most terrifying review right before Halloween. Perfect timing! 👌🤖👻
This was such an entertaining review! Thank you, Jang! I never had any Galidor sets as it came out during my "dark ages". It gets a lot of ridicule, but I could totally have seen really enjoying this as a little kid, especially the body-part adaptability feature allowing you to "Cronenberg" the characters.
lol I remember these. I had some of the LEGO figures from McDonald's. They were quite a bit smaller though. When I was a kid, I liked the idea of the interchangeable parts.
Great video for Halloween. Some true LEGO horror.
I had these a kid, and I actually loved them. 😂
Absolutely loved this one 😂
I have all three of these plus the green guy. Surprisingly, they were so popular at my school at the time.
Haha hahah. This is about the funniest Lego video that I’ve ever seen. Keep at it Jang.
Got me chuckling there at the end with the montage of Lego’s unfortunate history of uncanny figures. Great review!
Wow I had all three of these, I was trying to remember what this was called a couple years back but I never remembered that it was actually lego and I'm sure that didn't help my search. Great find
Jangs videos are like the Terminator... they slowly gain a sense of humor and become fun over time. You can compare his old vids to the new ones... he includes memes or clips that make you laugh, but still retain the main purpose of the vid.
As a kid, I would love to have those, they seem pretty cool.
Buttery smooth ratchet joints, that's nice. The mount's saddle thing could be popped off, plugged into an actual lego set and have it be like the Emperor's throne or something.
I honestly always wanted to buy Galidor sets when I was a kid.
Wow I remember this when I was a kid I need to get my hands on this for nostalgia factor.
Right at the end, we now know where those disturbing Human Centipede movies came from. A kid who only had these to play with
Now this is a pleasant surprise.
I watched that show years ago after Rangers on Saturday AMs on FoxKids. Boy these figures allways looked interesting. Thanks jang.
3:55
FEELS SO WRONG TO OPEN A PACKAGE MADE FOR 4+ KIDS AND ITS A PILE OF LIMBS.
Best. Jang Line. Ever.
The thumbnail is amazing
I remember have all three of these figures including the purple and black villain (Gorm). Gorm and Jens were probably my favorites. I barely remember the show at all, but I did like the toys.
I love Galidor, I have a few of the sets and I think they're pretty cool
Oh my god. I spent more time looking at these toys as a kid in lego magazines thinking they were interesting but never having had the chance to interact with them. What a blast from the past.
Everyone: Bionicle can barely be considered Lego
Galidor: Hold my expressionless human head
Wow man I remember getting the robot one without the limbs from a flea market years ago. Lol
Jangidor! Best. Jang. Video. Ever. :)
One of your best video ive watched in a while it was hilarious also angry clone face cameo /:)
I never thought you would review theses.
I had all of these characters as a kid and made all sorts of unholy creations. Never knew there was a show tho😂
The music at the end lol
Jang for the billionth time: “26 SIX EPISODES”
I remember getting some galador stuff from kids meals many years ago
I have a Sealed Nick, and have 2 of the McDonald's poly bags. This theme truly is special
That Jens crab actually looks pretty good
