They changed style, now are Blackcore not Deathcore at all, more.black etc so... For me.black metal is one of worst metal.genres and even they got a bit of Deathcore and good vocals, are more Black than Death.

@@Max909090909 the black metal influence seems to be toned down a bit on this song but it's still there. Besides It's only the first track off the album can't say for sure how blackened it's gonna be.

Took my kid back when he was 8 see them and black dahlia murder, it was a fucking blast! I was excited and there for the black dahlia murder and new carnifex as black metal and never really listened to them. Went through their albums getting ready for the concert and instantly regretted always putting them off for years thinking they were just another weird black metal band lol their cover songs are also top notch
Loving the return to form here, reminds me of a cross between The Diseased and The Poisoned and Until I Feel Nothing 🔥

I just got tix for the Joliet show on November 3rd and can't fucking wait! I've been a faithful fan to the brutality that is Carnifex since Dead In My Arms but this will be the first time I've been able to see you guys live.
Fuckkkkk the breakdown at 00:59 is one of the most violent intense sounding breakdowns I've ever heard... so damn sick. I look forward to it every time.
So glad Carnifex has stayed together for all these years and only continues to get more and more brutal every album. So glad they didn't sell out and start doing clean vocals and all that bullshit like a lot of old deathcore/metalcore bands did.
Been listening since 2006 and I'm looking forward to see what brutality the future of Carnifex holds!
Drums are fooking hoofin!! Love the blast beats especially and the nice patterns being used on the bell ride whilst doing so and lovely doublebass fast and tight and big technical fast fills all complimenting the heavy guitars. Proper use of all cymbals. The entire band and track is awesome but there is a saying which is actually true "your band is only as good as your drummer" and that really applies here. Top notch track, band and drummer. 🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥

They are like the wine. Carnifex are always changing and getting better. Their last album with this eponymous single, are fucking brutal. Love the mixing of Scott's screams and growls, which the most important part of their sound.

Cory came over for a BBQ at our drummers pad a few weeks ago. Super fuckin cool dude. Down to earth and it was a pleasure chillin and jamming with him. Hope to catch up with him again when their tour is over. One of my absolute favorite bands
