@@poshbo They experimented with that, but it seems the switch mount causes her (and a lot of other chinese gymansts) trouble so they took it out. Personally, I think they should ditch the switch half series entirely, which would lose 0.4 DV but it seems to be the worst part of her routine by far
@@Mhochul I'm surprised by that, it's a very feasible and valuable mount series and Guan Chenchen did it perfectly. The current COP rewards big mounts and I'm surprised the Chinese aren't taking full advantage. Even Qiu Qiyuan's BHS mount + straddle jump is far from maximum efficiency.

with that much wobble she’ll be lucky if she’s in the medal contention.
but realistically i like her routine better than anybodys on beam. that front tuck and side somi are so gorgeous and precise.

@@Mhochul There's still 3 months till the Olympics, she can still get it consistent. However, if it's not solid by late June, yeah take it out.
