Wait, this is impossible. I have seen many documentaries plus article from 20+ years stating the Abrams has never been destroyed in combat and how it is almost impossible to knock post and that it is the “king” of the battlefield. 🤣
Reddit is full of NATO fanboys coping. When the Leopard, Challenger and Abrams appeared westerns, including ones that served in the military were claiming these tanks would easily sweep “weak” Russian defensive lines and that the Russians would just run in fear after seeing these tanks. Once these tanks started getting destroyed they suddenly started claiming “well at least the crew survived” (often this was not even true). As more tanks started getting deployed they started claiming something to the effect of: “one Challenger was destroyed but Russia lost thousands of tanks” without ever considering that tanks like the Challenger have seen almost no combat and only 14 of them were given to Ukraine about a year into the war. Same story with the Abrams, almost no combat but the few that came even close to the line of contact were quickly destroyed.
Now the new cope is: “well at least now that Russia captured an Abrams, now they can learn to make a tank that doesn’t send the crew to the stratosphere” 🤣

As for the Abrams they only seen combat two years into the war and all known Abrams that seen combat were knocked out. Same story for the Challenger, only one Challenger was ever seen on the battlefield and it was destroyed.
Subsequently, both Abrams and Challengers were then withdrawn from the battlefield to preserve what was left of the fleets. In other words if the Ukrainians had thousands of western tanks two years ago, we would have had thousands of destroyed western tanks. You can’t brag that a small amount of western tanks were destroyed if they seen almost no combat whatsoever. Likewise tens of thousands of Soviet and Russian tanks have been involved in hundreds of wars and battles on every continent of the world.
Western tanks are garage queens and severely over hyped. They clearly burn just as easily as any other tanks but they are more expensive, heavier, have poor mobility, are difficult and expensive to repair and operate and have lot of mechanical issues.
Little side note, Ukraine had one of the largest armies in the world prior to the war and also received tens of thousands of weapons systems from 40+ countries but even now the Ukrainians complain they have almost nothing left….to put things into context, Ukraine received more tanks then what Germany, Canada, UK and France themselves operate COMBINED and prior to the war Ukraine had at least 2,000 tanks 🤣
Destroying thousands of armored vehicles even with NATO provided weapons, training, planning and global intelligence is quite an achievement. A lot more of an achievement of NATO fighting illiterate goat hurders with crusty AKs in Afghanistan for 20 years and still losing and running away while leaving over half a million weapons behind.

Russia fought on the eastern front, while the other Allies (US, Australia, Uk and the rest of Europe) fought against the Nazis in Europe, Africa and many Asian countries.
