Pie was also a front runner at that point. WOW wasnât going to send Pie home. Remember this was all filmed about a year before anyone had any idea about what Pie had done.
I love Jaida, but I donât think Pie being only 5 minutes wouldnât have made her set any better. Structured comedy doesnât seem to be her forte.

Jaida and Gigi each had 3(plus Gigi was top 2 episode 1) at this point, why didn't they protect Jaida, who has the better track record and didn't break any rules? They have protected front runners before, but I believe this just qualifies as straight up favoritism because it's not like Sherry was really all that on the radar in the competition.
The closest Sasha Colby came to losing the season was when she considered not competing on Season 15.

michelle and nymphia talked about the potion on watcha packin and they both agreed she didnt need it but nymphia was happy to take it anyways if plane was going to give it to her

She did amazing, the dancing was effortless. The only problem really was the lyrics
Idk.. her dancing seemed erratic and those lyrics were maybe worst of the night. Prob would still be only low for me cuz she had good energy and her runway was great.
Basing only on RuPaul and Jamal's comments, Nymphia was likely safe (4th place out of 7) or at worst, bottom 3.
She was clearly higher than Plane, as what Rupaul said. And based on the critics, Dawn and Q were definitely lower.

Nymphia was definitely not low for the power challenge, even the judges said it and were surprised by plane giving her potion to her.

I don't think nymphia would've been in the bottom for power cuz at watcha packin michelle said to nymphia she shouldn't have accepted immunity cuz her performance was good. The judges also mentioned that nymphia outshined plane.

I love Raven, but Tyra's run was sooooo good and as much as her attitude stank, she deserved to win.

Yvie Vs Brooklyn, Willow Vs Angeria, Jinkx Vs Detox, Symone Vs Candy and Iâd argue Sasha Vs Anetra because even though we all knew Sasha Colby was the clear winner she was still proving herself as a fully rounded queen plus Anetra had proven she was a powerhouse so going against the infamous Sasha Colby was another layer of âIâm gonna prove i deserve 2nd placeâ

I would argue that Sashaâs almost losing moment is when Shea won the ball. Having 4 wins used to mean an automatic crowning in drag race so when Shea secured that win it couldâve been her downfall.
Shea could have won everything and the lipsync would still be a defining moment. It was the first time they did that so they wouldn't rig it when the crowd went SO crazy at the reveal. To lose that iconic moment goes against all the producers want
â@@maca76to be fair, Sasha's win rests more on the song choice than the reveal. Her backup for Stronger was ditching the petals for scissors and cutting the wig. Doing that to a Britney song would be of poor taste and gave Shea the win

Nymphia fans are literally the patient zero of delusion đ. She slayed the final lipsync and the design challenge and on the runway. Everywhere else she struggled. Her lipsyncing off the show is like she said about Mhiya the stunts can be seen anywhere. Specifically being done by Miz Cracker. Same tights and padding too

Violet deserves the credit you gave her for never really flopping during Season 7
She kinda flopped but then again half the challenges in S7 were so bad and un-funny everyone was flopping.

Tbf outside of the American seasons there are even more dominant winners like Envy Peru, or ones that just end up straight up comical like Keiona Revlon (who beat Biancaâs record of never placing below safe by never placing below the top 3), and Drag Sethlas in España All Stars which was basically âwhat if Dela never quitâ
There's also the inverse of those powerhouses too. Like I'm wondering where would Electra Bionic land on this scale?
Some of that involves suspicious judging though. I think Bianca's run was pretty earned and her placements were accurate as well.

Sasha and Bianca were two sides of the same coin - both legends outside of drag race and pretty much steamrolled the competition
Tbh i still don't see Sasha steamrolling, she did decent all throughout, and she obv won with that finale, but it was Shea's crown to lose (and she did đą) imo

Sasha kinda redeemed herself with her last few jokes at the end, whereas Marcia was mid the entire was through. Also if weâre taking runways into account, I do think Sasha did overall better that week than Marcia. Boss B*tch shouldâve been a double shantay tho

The best part about King Tyraâs performance as well is that in an AMA on Reddit, someone asked what inspired the performance and all they said in response was âimmunityâ.

IMO, if the Power challenge had eliminations, it would be Plane and Q in the bottom 2. Even if Nymphia was in the bottom 2, it would be either Plane or Q with her, and she would easily send either of them home. But I think production wanted to keep all 3 of them, which gave them another reason to do a top 2 lol (if it wasnât already planned anyway).

Nymphia was only bad at snatch game.The other two i did not even consider her for bottom three let alone bottom two.Maybe i m delusion but that s how i ranked her.Too me she shoudl have had 4 wins 1 bottom just like sapphira

It used to be that having a single bottom lip sync was a huge boost to you getting the crown. This changed with Sapphira Crystal versus Nymphia Wind, but itâs a good change, because it really forces those queens to have a solid final lip sync.
Is it though? It just feels like we'll never get winners like Raja or Bianca on this show again too

The point at the end is such a good point re: queens using a btm2 placement to prove why they should not just stay, but WIN. It's kinda like on Survivor when people choose to make fire before the finale to give themselves a boost.
Just want to mention, nymphia wouldn't have been in bottom for the political challenge. It would have been definitely jane and probably Q
I didn't know that willow and angie are going to be a double save, I remember myself literally about to cry when they said angeria's name as a shantay, but I was relieved when they aslo said willow's.

Ivy was visibly emotional after her lip sync against BLH. She gave it her all and gave us a show. But in the end you can see that she fears the possibility of going home. One of my favorite queens & winners. đ

Willow is such a (unfairly) hated winner that this is the first time I heard about the Angeria elimination footage. And she said that on Roscoe's - where all Drag Race CZcamsrs and content creators get their tea, yet, I never heard about it. And honestly, rewatching the season last week made me love her even more. A great artist, no matter what the haters say.

My theory on the season 4 thing is it wouldâve been a double save anyway because they had one on season 3&5 and funny enough it was also at top 6 on season 3. I donât think they planned on bringing Kenya back. Because then the number of weeks doesnât add up if Willam doesnât get DQd.

I think comparing most of the winners to Bianca shows how she just waved the competition bye-bye. She had charisma, humour, a harsh yet likeable realness that cut through fake personalityâs and was ABLE TO SEW (which is rare these days). Within a couple episodes I think everyone knew she was gonna win đ

I genuinely think that Tyra did great in the rock singing challenge. Yeah her attitude sucked leading up to it, but when it came to the performance, the only thing that should matter, she brought attitude and made me laugh. Her bending over ass backwards while singing was hilarious

What makes season 13 feel so pointless and boring was seeing that no matter how bad the eventual winner did, they were going to stay and win, doing the same lipsync since the premiere...but anyways. They won. Good for them.

Symone and Jaida had such wonky placements because there were at least one other queen on their season who production was pushing hard at their expense. Symone really shouldn't have been in the bottom TWICE, and Jaida shouldn't have been in the bottom once.

i guess it depends on how you view "almost lost". the way my mind works is jaida would be the closest to not winning the crown because overrall gigi obliterated this season, 4 wins + a top 2 first episode with 0 bottom placements. Topping that all off i believe gigi was pseudo DQ'd in the finale for renting a space during covid or something to that extent? I think gigi wins the season without that so i'd put jaida #1. Love them both though!
Apparently that gigi thing was just a rumor. I saw a video of her and her friends setting up the space in her house and I believe it was gigi herself who said it wasn't true in am interview with Symone.

In my opinion season 2 was a close race as soon as the top 6. Many people act like Tyra completely steamrolled everyone else. I don't think Tyra did a bad job by any means but I do think in certain areas she's overhyped. The season 2 cast all were really delivering.
By that point of the season, 2 queens didn't have a win and Raven was in the bottom 2 twice. Tyra's biggest competition was Tatiana and she was the only queen of the top 6 the rest of the cast liked less than Tyra. That season was a race for second place
@@donniesumling8549 I don't care about score cards. I think that that season had a lot of talent in it. There are always wins, elliminations, critiques and top and bottom placements I disagree with.

This vid just solidifies my opinion that S14 has the weakest finalists by far (they being 5, FIVE, could be enough but well)⊠not one clear winner from the start, and not one of them would stand a chance against any finalist (let alone a winner) from other seasons
Season 14 is kinda the weakest to me. No one really stood out nor was a winner worthy. Willow is just kinda a bit more special than the others so she won. But they were pretty even.

To be more precise, what happened with S12 was a change over the change that the season had
Originally the storyline was Gigi's rivalry with Sherry until the end since they were the top 2, and initially in the narrative it was contemplated that Sherry was the hero and Gigi the bitch, something like jinkx/roxxxy or sharon/phi phi
Then Sherry's disqualification occurred and they completely changed Gigi's narrative, making her the sure winner who would have difficulties in the end but would recover quickly with the last challenge
Until covid occurred and gigi was disqualified for performing take on me from aha in a studio and not at home as the finalists were asked to do, production determined that instead of expelling her, it was better to crown jaida who had 3 wins and good times like the presidential challenge

Itâs still wild to me that Nymphia wasnât in the bttm 2 for her snatch game like the way she was genuinely annoying Ru it made me think not even her amazing runway would save her cause sometimes a runway can save a queen and other times it doesnât just bc of how bad their performance was.
Also how she wasnât in the bottom with Dawn for the bathroom challenge since Morphine at least had the decency to let Q talk
@@maximeminassian6002same bc I was like they gave the win as a group but chose to pick the bttm 2 separately so I was shocked that Morphine was in the bttm over Nymphia since Nymphia was pretty bad as well and itâs not like Dawn was sending her home. It did however give us a legendary lipsync to Body performed by Morphine.

Oh, I think we all know that Nymphia would have been in the bottom if PJ hadn't saved her, which is why it's so funny throughout the rest of the season when she says that she's never been in the bottom. Like, we all know you were rescued from lip syncing thanks to the immunity potion, that doesn't mean as far as track record goes, you haven't been in the bottom. đ

I didn't watch watcha packin, so I don't know what Michelle said. But what I do know is that Nymphia did the worst and there's no reason she shouldn't have been in the bottom unless there was some rigging going on (and in this case, the "rigging" was PJ saving her). I don't believe for a second that she didn't deserve to be in the bottom for her performance.
Side note I'm still baffled Anetra left the werkroom bc of a headache... has she ever worked a retail job or done something at all in her life? Leaving bc of some physical pain its not an option in real life for normal people who do stuff on a daily basis đ and people still wanted someone like her to win

She didn't have a headache she had a migraine. She said she gets migraines once in a while and they're debilitating. For her to even be there as long as she was with one was amazing.
