Besides that, yeah, Eggman had some good thinking, you'd have to admit (despite everybody predicted his betrayal lol.) Even if he failed, he has some good ideas then and there and improves through most games.

I feel like there's just so much raw EMOTION in that one line in particular, especially when the attack pattern lines up so he says it right before using the black hole attack that can instantly kill Sonic regardless of whether or not he has rings

I honestly think Lost World is much better than people give it credit for. It is very unique and creates its own identity. I never really thought it was too close to Mario.

It's a mixmatch of various Mario elements, and the deadly six are the biggest examples of that. It's impossible to think it's not close to Mario in any way.

Play the 3ds version. The boss is WAYYYY more difficult and has even a hard mode and the end of the battle is a sort of "Final Color Blaster mk 2" and you can even turn Super Sonic without glitches or mods. Lost World is a good game,but on 3ds really shines

I LOVE this theme and the Dark badass version of Robotnik in this game. It fits too well. Had to start listening again after beating the console version for the first time.
Okay, this could be my HomeStuck brain kicking in, but MAN does this theme remind me a LOT of Dance of Thorns, one of the best songs on the STRIFE collection and one of the best themes of Rose Lalonde.

The only thing that made this boss even more disappointing was the fact that the two levels prior to this one were way more difficult, and one of them was just a boss rush
I never fought Nega Wisp, Egg Emperor, OR the Death Egg Robot but even I can tell Eggman's running out of good ideas

I think that's the point. They're running out of ideas as fast as sonic runs through levels. And they're reusing old ideas instead of making new concepts.
